We had 2 king size doubles & single for 5 nights, whilst attending a conference at the Venue Cymru, just up the road. The furniture & dressing of the hotel are amazing. Having owned a property of this age, we understood the peeling paper & bubbling paint in places, but if you wanted to be critical, you could easliy find fault. The bar area is small, but we ate there for 4 nights & the food, although standard fayre was hot, cooked to oeder & came in generous portions. The owner Mark and his staff were very helpful. My wife thought the bed was the most comfy she had ever slept in. In room 4 (above the bar) there can be some noise, but allways finished before 11.30pm & as we were at functions everynight, did not bother us. The single room was more than adequate and a good price. Overall, all 5 of us would be happy to stay here again.

Room Tip: rooms 4 & 11 the kingsize rooms have a seating area, looking out over the bay

I would describe this place as a large guest house rather then a small hotel, the welcome is warm and the service attentive, the pleasant bar / come dining area works really well and offers food and drink at various times during the day, I found my room great especially as I was upgraded to a family room at no extra charge from the single room I booked. Would agree with others the rooms can be a bit noisy, little sound insulation between rooms, a problem I have found in 4 star hotels before now, was not overly disturbed and slept fairly well each night. Breakfast each day was excellent in terms of both food and service.

I stayed here recently on business. Parking was fine (out of season), reception was fine, WIFI good.

The room I stayed in was noisy (possibly outside) and the door was very difficult to lock and unlock. My biggest issue was the bed - far too soft, the mattress was sunken in the middle and I really didn't sleep well.

Breakfast was fine; service prompt and efficient.

Be aware of booking via Booking.com; cancelllation policy is TWO days notice.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It's been carefully and sympathetically photographed but is very pricey for what it is; the St Tudno further down the road towards The Grand Hotel is the same price with deals but far, far superior.

Located on the sea front this hotel is small, friendly, clean and easy to find. Breakfast is good with a nice range of cereals, juices and all the usual cooked fare on offer.

Parking is on the street in front of the hotel and I can imagine that when all the hotels are open in the height of summer you may have to hunt for a space.

We were staying as part of a golfing weekend and the general view from the group was that the rooms were comfortable. Our room was on the top floor (3 flights of steep stairs, no lift), hot (no adjustment on the radiator possible) and shared a bathroom with another room. There was no water pressure, so the shower was very disappointing.

The bar area is small but in good weather it is possible to sit out on the front.

The hotel is 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre along the prom. A pleasant walk in good weather.

Overall this was a suitable hotel for a budget, guys only, b&b weekend.

On a last minute easter break, we booked a room at the Manor Hotel. From the view outside, i felt my heart sink - looked small and typical of a resort B&B. Went inside and i changed my mind - beautiful decor in the bar and lounge. The room was superb ! We werent expecting 2 huge windows with views of the pier and the sea!! The staff were very friendly and breakfast was a bit slow ( as there were quite a few guests ) but the friendly service made up for it. Good selection of cooked breakfast as well as the usual juice/cereal/fruits. Value for money !

We've just returned from a short break in Llandudno which was really great. We stayed at the Manor Hotel in the Penthouse rooms. The hotel is beautifully decorated and and feel that a few of the previous reviews are unfair to say the least. We found the owner, Mark, very welcoming as was Nicky and all the staff. They were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.. The Penhouse rooms were very roomy and with three children it was ideal. We even decided to stay another night and although we couldn't stay in the penhouse rooms we transferred to another family room which was also nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay again. Yes, it is rather a long walk (approx. 20 mins) but we really enjoyed the exercise even though it was really cold.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are always a plus to any holiday.

We booked this as a last minute treat for my husbands birthday , I rangto confirm and they had already notedthe special request. Check in is 3.00pm we would have liked an earliercheck in but it was not a problem as near to shops in Craig-y-Don for browsing. We thought the whole decor was great and the bar area was not to big or over powering, really nice atmosphere. The roolm was great, big TV, comfy 4 poster, fantastic sea view and tea/coffee making facilities. The only thing was marked table which was a shame but we put down to careless guests which did not reflect on the hotel standards. Breakfast was lovely and the staff and owners were all very welcoming. No comparison price wise to other big hotels who were charging much more for side rooms. We were ableto sit looking out at the pier, sea rolling in and the orme view very romantic and would definetly go again.

Room Tip: We had the frontsea view room on the 1st floor.
