I read all the amazing reviews and decided to stay here.

A very below average B&B. Tacky decor, Dribble of water from the shower, Carpet from Bedroom runs into the bathroom. House smelt of Shake N Vac, so strongly that we headaches after 10 minutes. Very Dated everything.

Breakfast very bad, Tinned Tomato and tinned mushrooms - Why bother !! Disgusting and not what you would expect from a B&B with such wonderful reviews, Cheap salty bacon.

Beds need replacing, years old and nothing in the room matches.. Clean bed linen however. Price quoted on the phone was more expensive that what was up on the window !.

Dirty Windows, Cold House, Bad Food, Over Priced, Bad Beds, Dreadful Shower, Overpowering smell, Nice Host - That just about sums up our experience.

Would not recommend this B&B,

My wife and I stayed at the Swn-Y-Mor for two nights and couldn't have had a better time.

We've been to a LOT of European hotels and B&Bs, and I don't think we've ever found a better value. Where else in the UK can you find an oceanfront room for GBP 70/night.

The place is immaculate and the owners are extremely friendly and treat you like family. They'll help you with anything you need. At one point we needed internet access, and since it was late nothing was open. They offered to let us come into their home and use their computer! Where do you get service like that?

The rooms are very well cleaned, the bath/shower are really nice, and the linens are high-quality/high thread count.

Llandudno is a nice town. It's larger than it seems from the maps/guidebooks. If you want to splurge on dinner try the Tudno hotel restaurant. Your dinner probably cost you double what you pay to stay at Swn-Y-Mor, but it is very nice.

I booked to stay at this hotel for just the 1 night. The hotel is very clean, which is important to me, and I assume most other visitors. I agree totally with most of the other reviews in that it is a very friendly, family run hotel which offers a very warm welcome. The location is excellent on the promenade.

The purpose of my visit was the fact that I have a travel business & had recommended a customer to stay at Swm Y Mor. A discussion by some on the trip advisor forum suggested that some hotels (this one included) had purposely made up comments or made false allegations. Therefore I visited myself so I could get my own opinion.

If anyone is seeking a pleasant well run, inexpensive hotel then it is ideal. There are obviously lots of places to stay in Llandudno & cannot comment on others, but this is certainly a great value place to stay. If someone expects lots of facilities such as pool, & wants superior luxury at a price, then you will be disappointed.

For the price I was not expecting anything special just a basic hotel, but it certainly exceeded my expectations, mainly due to the cleanliness & friendliness of the staff.

Booked this hotel for a one night stay on recommendation of tripadvisors. Our room had seaview on 2nd floor. Plenty of storage space, very comfy beds and excellent pillows. The bathroom was a little small and dark but quite adequate.
Breakfast was one of the best "full english" we've had and a good selection of cereals and some fruit. We were offered more tea and toast-- nothing was too much trouble. We would have liked to stay another night but had to return home.

We were looking for a B & B that we could use for a quick overnight stay in Llandudno. Once again we used Tripadvisor to find the best rated hotel.

Swn-Y-Mor is located centrally and right on the sea front.

There were no sea view rooms available so we were accommodated in a rear view room. We were not too bothered about a view so if this is important to you then I suggest you book well in advance.

Our room was very clean, tidy and adequate for our needs.

There is a small bar downstairs with a couple of beers on tap. Must admit the Bitter tasted great!

Breakfast is served from 8 in the morning for an hour. The usual applies here, either choose your cereal or go for a full English before you go out for a stroll across the sea front.

All in all a nice little B & B, everything you would expect - Clean, friendly, well located and staff with a great attitude to guests.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

I would recommend a stay here. Spent a long weekend there. Room was kept very clean and tidy and there was a great sea view with the Great Orme on one side and the Little Orme on the other. The bed was very comfortable and enabled a good night's sleep. Breakfast was great. The staff had gone to the trouble to supply me with a vegetarian breakfast. All staff were very helpful and friendly and made our stay a very pleasant one.

Would recommend.

I spent 3 nights at Swn-Y-Mor while visiting the UK on holiday from the USA. What a wonderful place to stay! I absolutley recommend Swn-Y-Mor without the slightest hesitation! The innkeepers, Ron and Jean, are so very warm & welcoming, and very helpful about how to make your stay in the north of Wales a memorable one. The location of Swn-Y-Mor is directly on the seafront, on the Promenade, and just minutes from the shops, pubs, and restaurants of the town center. It is beautiful 24 hours a day! Our room was terrific. We had a magnificent view of the sea! And the room was spotless, very comfortable, very well provided and cheerful. The ensuite bath was lovely too, and not at all cramped like you find in some places. The breakfast room overlooked the sea as well, and was bright and cheerful. We had the Full English Breakfast each morning, which was absolutely delicious and so substantial that we made do with just a light snack in the early evening, or just an afternoon tea. It was a wonderful way to economize and save up for shopping! We drove the Great Orme, which is a must see for anyone staying in the area. We also visited Conwy, Caernarfon and Betys-y-Coed. The drive through Snowdonia will take your breath away! Each evening we were warmly welcomed back by an always smiling Ron & Jean. I had absolutely no disappointments with Swn-Y-Mor, and found Wales a breathtakingly beautiful country, and the Welsh warm and friendly and always ready to be helpful. It was hard to pack up and depart! Thank you Ron and Jean for a magnificent stay in your beautiful country!
