Lovely, traditional promenade with plenty of seating, lovely flower beds, shelters and acres of space with a fantastic view of the bay and The Great Orme. No matter how busy it gets, there is always plenty of space. You can still hire deck chairs for either the prom, or the beach, very reasonably.
Just watch out for the assassin gulls...having sympathised with another couple who lost part of their lunch, we were then attacked and lost most of an ice cream. Keep your eyes on your food, and don't let your attention waver, or they'll have you!
Even with this caveat, Llandudno promenade is a wonderful place to spend a hot summer afternoon.

This is by far the widest prom I've seen in ANY seaside resort, so the Victorians were very wise to build it that large, in view of the massive popularity of Llandudno as a place to stroll and enjoy the seaside. It's also ideal for runners and joggers, and for elderly people like me to take a brisk walk or a stroll and admire the beautiful terraces. There are flowerbeds and palm trees along the inward side, with rows of seats for a rest or just to enjoy the view. There are also several shelters at the edge of the beach, which are very useful if it rains.

I love Llandudno Promenade which I first visited back in the early 1960's. This is a beautiful Victorian town that has not changed much over the years, but is remarkably well kept. It is clean and has little or no litter and no graffiti. There is plenty of parking, seating and free access to the pier which considering its age is in remarkably good condition with amusements and plenty of refreshment outlets. I would happily spend all day on this promenade as there is always something going on. One word of warning however. Be very wary of the Sea Gulls who have become quite dangerous and will attack anybody who they think has food that they can steal, Also small dogs can be in danger as well. Otherwise the birds just watch but do not bother visitors.

We were there on a hot weekend and it was very busy. Very wide promenade to cater for the crowds. The place was very clean, but beware when eating your lunch on the promenade. Be prepared to be stalked and starred down by these huge seagulls. Don’t take your eyes off your food or they will nick it right out of your hands. I loved the promenade.

Always enjoy walking the Promenade at LLandudno. The wide expanse of hotels overlooking the bay, all beautifully maintained as is the beach and Prom itself. Wonderful architecture, sea views and frequently interesting things going on. It's a must for us when in the area to 'walk the Prom'. Plenty of seating available. Ideal for all age groups and in close proximity to the Town Centre..
