“Perfect weekend”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2013

We had heard about The Elm Tree from friends who stay regularly but the accomodation, the food and the very warm welcome surpassed our high expectations! Carol and Tom are lovely and can't do enough for you. Our room (no 6) was fabulous with great sea view and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing (smoked salmon, kippers, smoked haddock and poached eggs on the menu as well as traditional full english breakfast). Great location, right by the pier. We are looking forward to another visit.

We were recommended the Elm Tree by another local hotel that was fully booked, and we could not have been ,more thrilled! Carol was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is beautiful! Clean and modern, our room was on the second floor, with a sea view, gorgeous furnishings and a great power shower!!! Great location for a look around the town and we will without a doubt look to stay here again!! Thanks Carol and Tom, we had a great time!!

We came across the elm tree quite by accident after not booking anywhere to stay before arriving in llandudno and we hit the jackpot. Beautiful clean, modern and stylish, what more can I say. The rooms were lovely the breakfast was quality and plentiful and the hosts Carol and Tom were the best, most welcoming. The quality little touches like the honesty bar and the patio garden were lovely. I could go on and on with praise, could not fault anything. Definatley recommend this one 10 out of 10.

As said earlier this year we will return! and yes it was every bit as good as we remembered,
A few of the teething problems experienced following the refurbishment have been resolved and the accommodation and hospitality offered by Tom, Carol and the team are second to none.
Llandudno remains the jewel of north Wales and the Elm Tree the ideal venue to experience it.
The views from the front bedrooms are stunning and we hope to return time and again.
Keep up the good work and we hope to see you soon.

Room Tip: Romms at the front have an excellant view of the promanade

Found this B&B on the Internet and it did not disappoint! Carol was very helpful and understanding over the phone, especially because we had to change our holiday dates. You can see that Tom and Carol have spent a lot of time and money to make it into a superb B&B with pristine, boutique, luxury rooms. Each room is finished to a very high quality and are cleaned to high standards daily. We had a gorgeous view of the pier from our window and they have a lovely front garden which you can relax in, looking out over the seafront. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a huge choice of options to suit all. Carol and Tom are very friendly and talkative, offering information and advice on areas to visit and things to do in the area. If we visit this area again we will definitely stay at this superb B&B and would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing break.

We stayed here for two nights in August in the junior suite which was fabulous: huge bay windows with fantastic views over the bay; mini bar (which is a nice touch), I know these seem to have lost popularity in most hotels now but this was great, no extortionate prices either. There was a great bathroom with a good shower and nice toiletries and everything was absolutely spotless; this is possibly the cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in.

Breakfast was excellent; good choice of cereals and cooked breakfast options which was served in a lovely sunny dining room by very professional hosts, Tom and Carol. Nothing was too much trouble at this B&B. We had a lovely relaxing break and wished it could have been longer, but we will be back in September.

Room Tip: Pay extra for a front facing room! Fabulous!
