Having just returned from a weekend break at the Elm Tree, we can only say that our planned trip next August cannot come quick enough. This hotel is just perfect in every way. Stunning modern décor throughout yet maintaining a warm welcoming feel, we stayed in Room 6 which had a gorgeous sea view, beautiful furniture, immaculate modern bathroom and a bed that rivalled our own at home (and you can't often say that!). Carol and Tom are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful and can only be commended for providing warm hospitality and making you feel relaxed and at home in their beautiful sea front hotel. They also own and run the nearby Queen Victoria pub which offers the same level of welcome and hospitality .. and top class staff. Breakfast at the hotel was again first class, lots of choice, well presented and served with a friendly smile. We have Room 1 booked for the summer, and are already planning how we can possibly squeeze in another break and splash out on the top floor Executive suite! Thank you so much Carol, Tom and staff for a fabulous weekend. Dave and Sue

Room Tip: Sea views are fabulous but all the rooms in tis hotel are stunning and would not disappoint

We just spent a weekend in Llandudno. This hotel was perfect. Clean, with nice rooms, great breakfasts and, best of all, a charming and welcoming host.

The hotel is a good position, just at the edge of the sea front, close to the town centre and close to the Great Orme – frankly what more could be asked

Room Tip: Just ask for a sea view

We recently stayed here and honestly could not fault it. The hotel had recently been renovated and therefore was spotlessly clean and modern decor. The owners Carole and
Tom could not have been more accommodating even going to the trouble of finding car parking. The breakfast was "spot on" and freshly cooked. The situation is perfect with beautiful views overlooking the bay. I can also recommend the Queen Victoria for an evening meal. It is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel and offered good wholesome freshly cooked food at a reasonable price.. Do not hesitate to book here.

Room Tip: I think most rooms had a sea view, but always worth asking. If it is a special occasional they have...

Wonderful hospitality, breakfast magnificent, top quality furnishings and linen, gleaming like a new pin, a view to die for, lounge, separate private cocktail lounge and a lift. The owners Tom and Carol should be very proud on what they have achieved and work their little cotton socks off. What more do you want? - well I'll tell you - their little gem of a restaurant about 3 minutes walk from the Elm Tree called The Queen Victoria. ''Ask and yea shall receive'', that should be Tom and Carol's motto, as nothing was too much trouble for them! PERFECT.

Room Tip: We loved our room overlooking the Bay - you will not be disappointed. Or better still, try the penth...

We arrived at the Elm Tree following a recommendation and we were in no way disappointed. The cleanliness, décor, staff and breakfasts were all excellent. Our wonderful hosts, Tom and Carol, clearly could not have made our stay any more memorable. With many thanks. We'll be back!

We had seen the hotel during its recent refurbishment and my kids booked it for my birthday. What a treat it was ! As the owners were away we were greeted by stand in managers Peter and Bev and could not have been treated better. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed we were treated to the finest hospitality anyone could wish for. The room was the junior suite and the view was absolutely stunning.. It looks right across the bay and is perfect for people watching when you arrive back home after your evening out. A mini fridge keeps your drinks cool and the power shower ensures you are suitably refreshed before you make your way downstairs for a sumptious breakfast of your choice. What better way to start your day in the beautiful seaside resort of Llandudno. No expense has been spared in the refurbishment by the owners Tom and Carol and I am sure we shall meet them on future visits.

Room Tip: The Junior suite on the front is amazing
