Booked into the Baytree Hotel for an overnight stay in Llandudno.
The hotel was in a fantastic location overlooking the promenade, with a grand frontage. The public rooms on the ground floor were also very inviting, which would be expected for a hotel that had only been open 12 months following a major refurbishment.
However, the bedrooms, especially the room we were allocated, although a front sea view which was fantastic the room was on the small side as was the ensuite which looked dated and not part of the recent refurb. Thankfully we didn't need to use the shower as all we could get was cold water out of the tap in the sink in the room. Additionally we could only get BBC 1 on the tv, but as we only spent a couple of hours in the room it didn't affect us that much.
We only had breakfast in the hotel and that was a disappointment, it wasn't hot, very small in size with only one sausage and one piece of bacon, although toast was plentiful.
I have so say, the owners were very friendly and took time out to speak to their guests and treat them as people and friends.
But all being said we had a lovely stay but sorry to say we didn't consider the room to be worth the sixty pounds we were charged.
