Overall a very pleasant stay here - Room was very clean and comfortable, although the view wasnt particularly scenic (we stayed at the rear of the hotel). Breakfast was delicious and a range of cereals and bakery items were avaliable. The general atmosphere of the hotel was good and areas were clean although maybe a few modernisations to the carpet, furnishings etc would make it more homely. The Bar was well stocked, however it could do with being relocated to the lounge to bring the light into it.

The only issue was the lack of Wi-Fi access in the rooms and despite this being stated in the hotel and the folder within the room stating "a laptop being made avaliable in the lounge" , it was not always provided, and I had to ask on a number of occasions for them to set this up (I had my own laptop, but the signal was particularly weak and wasnt able to successfully connect)

Overall a very pleasant stay and I would reccommend this to anyone wishing to enjoy Llandudno

Room Tip: Book in advance and ensure you bring a dongle with you for internet connection

Llandudno is one of those places that can be visited for the day, but from time to time i like to stay over for a night or so as there is so much to see in the area. Parking can be a real pain in a place like Llandudno as it is a really busy place, so after much scouring of the internet found the 'Clovelly Hotel' which is situated near the sea front and close to the pier. There were really good reviews as well, and for a small charge there was some parking at the back of the hotel, although it did mention 'small cars' which mine fortunatley fitted into the category. From the outside the hotel is fresh looking, the room we had was quite large with 2 single beds, a fairly large bathroom which was a little dated but it was clean, the bedroom itself was a bit of a mixture of decor with newly decorated walls but some old bits or ornaments which were pushed out of the way, but really didn't need to be there, the room was at the back of the house which was fine. The car parking was extemely tight to say the least and it was a struggle in the morning to get my car out, oh by the way your charged £5 for parking. All in all the hotel was ok, breakfast was fine - dining room a little cluttered, a little draw back for myself and friend was the fact that the lock in our door broke we therefore couldn't get into the room and had to wait for the owner to get it fixed which took well over a hour, we were able to sit in the lounge downstairs and at least watch TV but the office of a cup of tea would have been nice as it was getting pretty late in the evening..

We have just got back from a nights stay at The Clovelly. We were a party of 3 adults and one 4 year old. A very clean and comfortable B&B, very close to the seafront and town. The owner/staff were very friendly and helpful and we found the breakfast to be of an excellent standard, we are regretting the fact we could only stop for one night. Double room small but very clean and comfortable - bed was brilliant and it was very quiet during the night - except for the seagulls! The twin rooms look larger (had a sneaky peek in one!)

Very happy with our choice and would def recommend.

We stayed at The Clovelly for the weekend, we consisted of 3 adults, 1 teenager, 1 child and a baby. The Hotel was great for all our needs and we were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and how helpfull the staff were. The owner took real pride in his hotel and provided us with an excellent breakfast. My family are extremely well traveled and are used to staying in larger hotels so I was a little unsure when my husband booked The Clovely but I would definately return as we all had such a wonderful stay. I always feel guilty for not writing reviews but felt I just had to for this hotel. The only down point was the limited parking but it was very easy to just park up the road as there were lots of spaces and it was free.

We stayed at the Clovelly hotel for 4 nights over the Royal Wedding bank holiday weekend.

Andy and the team made us feel very welcome (there were 12 of us). The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Andy was very accommodating and hospitable and greeted all requests and enquiries with a smile.

It is a shame our conference is moving to Southport next year! I would definitely recommend the Clovelly Hotel!
