The Cliffbury Guest House

This is a superb B & B with lovely hosts. We stayed a couple of nights in June and wished we had booked for longer as we have never stayed anywhere so clean and well presented with such friendly hospitality from Gareth and Claire. The large double room was very spacious and extremely comfortable with a massive en-suite bathroom. The breakfast selection was excellent and was delicious with nothing being too much trouble. Look no further than The Cliffbury for a B & B in LLandudno that you will not be disappointed with. Thank you for a superb stay.

We were met by Gareth as we were parking our car. Although an hour earlier than check in time the warm welcome we received started our week off in a good way. Help with our cases and off to see our rooms. Lovely rooms, light and airy, well decorated with good furniture. We soon found that a combination of Llandudno air and Cliffbury comfortable beds made for a relaxing holiday. The tray of tea/coffee was excellent, with bottles of (Welsh) water and lovely biscuits. Everything was topped up each day - top marks for this. We liked the wall mounted flat screen TV.
Room and en-suite was cleaned to a high standard every day.
Breakfast was a lovely start to the day. Meeting everyone and chatting about things to do in Llandudno and locality. Many guests were returning to The Cliffbury and it was easy cto see why. Garath was a star in the morning............nothing too much trouble. Claire was busy in the kitchen making breakfast for everyone. Quite a challenge as the breakfast menu was extensive and we managed to sample most of it during our stay. Always coooked and presented extremely well. The bowl of fresh fruit with the cereals was excellent.
Gareth gave a lot of good advice regarding places to visit.............there was also an extensive collection of promotional leaflets that gave further insight into the area. By the way if you plan to go on the Snowden Mountain Railway book in advance. No tickets available on our first visit to Llanberis but with The Cliffbury free Wi-Fi and my laptop we were able to book our tickets very easily. We were also given further good advice regarding places to eat in the evening.
A big thank you to Gareth and Claire for making our stay so pleasant. We will definitely stop at The Cliffbury when we are next in LLandudno.

Room Tip: Nice sitting room in Room 3

I cannot recommend this B&B high enough. Both Gareth and Claire are excellent hosts. The Cliffbury is spotless, rooms are spacious with everything you could wish for. Breakfast is excellent with locally sourced ingredients for the cooked option. The attention to detail is second to none. Though we have stayed numerous times in Llandudno before Gareth was very helpful in suggesting things to do and where to go for evening meals and his suggestions were very welcome and proved to be excellent. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning to The Cliffbury

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 4

From the day we arrived till the time we left three days later we were made to feel so welcome by Gareth and Claire. The Cliffbury is a beautifully restored house, we stayed in room number three. It was immaculately clean, roomy and very nicely decorated.Breakfast was great with lots of choice.
The Cliffbury is very well located for walking into town and the private parking was an added bonus!
We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Wales and would recommend this guesthouse to the most discerning of people.

Room Tip: Number three is a very roomy suite with private sitting area and T.V.

This B & B was by far the best we have ever experienced. Our room was immaculately designed to please. The large range of hearty choices on their breakfast menu made it difficult to make a choice. The off-street parking was convenient and walking to the CBD and Promenade was easy, being closer than we thought. Gareth and Claire are very good at their business and make a point of being extremely helpful to the sightseeing and culinary options available around their community.

Room Tip: Room 2 has a good view of the Great Orme.

Fantastic falls short of describing this guesthouse. Gareth and Claire are wonderful hosts. Our room No. 2 had superb views of the Great Orme was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfy our bathroom had both a bath and a separate shower. Claire's cooked breakfast was lovely and all food was sourced locally.

Room Tip: Room No.2 had lovely views and a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower

Just got back from a 2 night stay at the Cliffbury and only have nice things to say about it.
The place is spotless and very well furnished and equipped. There is nothing left to chance
It even has razors and tooth-brushes in the rooms.
The rooms are spacious and airy with a fully equipped en-suite. My only moan is that it would benefit from a power shower but that is only because that is what we are used to.
The Welsh breakfast is superb and plentiful and the hosts Gareth and Claire can't do enough for you.

We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel and if ever we go back to Llandudno(which is very likely) this is the place where we will be staying.

Thanks Gareth and Claire for a fabulous weekend break.
Hope to see you again soon.
