“Go on a sunny day”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

Absolute magic. The view is perfect, can see for miles. Sun reflecting iff the water, dark green colours melding into lighter shades . Challenge yourself and walk up the tram tracks and then up the well trodden footpaths, not many markers but is fairly easy to find. Visit the cemetery and church and then climb back up the hill to the cable car and tram station. Cable car is now 8 quid return , tram 6.40 the walk is really pleasant but was a bit slippery on the way down. Take care.well worth it, but for those who dont enjoy walking, you can drive up from the end of the promenade

“3rd year up there and finally got a view!”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

My partner and I have enjoyed all of our visits to the Great Orme, our first trip in 2012 we did the tram up which was a lovely ride.....sun out, that was until we got towards the top and the fog set in. 2013 we drove up, had a good walk around and viewed St Tudno's Church and Churchyard which was very atmospheric in the gloom and rain, but we are never disheartened. This year was our lucky break, up there early with glorious blue sky and sunshine, with spectacular views across to the Menai Straits, Anglesey & Puffin Island. Spent nearly 4 hrs up there taking photos and watching the trams and the people riding the cable car from Happy Valley who are far braver than I! We had coffee and cake in the Summit Complex Café which has always been nice, yes the place is quite basic but the place has always been clean and tidy & the staff friendly and helpful.

“Great views of Llandudno, excellent walking territory”
Reviewed 24 May 2014 via mobile

You can easily walk up the Great Orme, or catch the tram up from the town. We caught the tram, but retrospectively wished we'd walked up.

Once you're up at the top, there are a number of different walks you can go off and do to enjoy the views. You can see Ireland on a clear day!

We walked east away from the cafe and tram station, and followed the coastal path all the way around the side of the headland back into Llandudno. A lovely walk, not marked by signposts at first but just follow the trail until you eventually start seeing signposts pointing "to town".

“Outstanding View”

Orme Cafe - food always well received. Car parking facilities excellent - it's chilling out time up there, just being away from it all - peaceful.
