Wife Jo and I had the pleasure of an informal dinner here. Horrendous weather outside but the warm décor, ambience and welcome soon left that behind. Large tables with comfy chairs well spaced from others made this rather special. NOT the usual boring range on the menu but wide ranging tastes to return for including starters for snacks and main meals incorporating winter casseroles and stews. Wonderfully presented and it did taste as good as it looked! All with fresh vegetables too. We shared the tempting deserts [one being brioche and butter pudding with orange liquor -fantastic] which gave even more reason to return. Probably for breakfast at the weekend!!
