“An excellent B & B in a good position”
Reviewed 2 June 2013

Overall this was an excellent place to stay. We were late booking so probably did not get the best room.(No 18) It was on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel with no real "view". Nonetheless it was more than adequate and spotlessly clean. It is quite a walk up from the car park to the 2nd floor (51 steps) so some may struggle. The breakfast was as good as I have had with a wide choice of fruits and cereals followed by a prepared to order "Full English" served by very pleasant efficient staff. I did feel, however, that a serving period of 9.00 to 9.30 was a little late. I would certainly recommend.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front especially on the 2nd floor offer better views. Room 18 is probably smaller with...

My boyfriend & I stayed at Sefton Court over the May Bank Holiday, so Llandudno was packed with people in every direction! Which was worrying as we knew the hotel was so close to the main town, but it wasn't an issue at all. The hotel is situated on a one way street which isn't busy so you can get some quiet from the hustle and bustle. There is also sufficient car parking space at the front of the property.

As soon as we got to the hotel it was nice to walk into a large, bright, pretty room (room 4), with a huge window that has the sun shining through it all day!

The en suite bedroom was beautifully decorated, and it was lovely sitting on the sofa facing the window, so you can lounge whilst looking at the views across the town.

Breakfast was superb. You only get half an hour to eat it (9am - 9:30am) so everyone is in the room at the same time, but the service is highly organised & efficient and the food is delicious! There's fruit, cereals, toast, welsh cakes and the Full English! More than enough to fill you up for the day.

The only minor issue was that the shower wasn't the best - I like power showers - but that's nitpicking.

Overall it was a pleasing visit to Llandudno & it was in the ideal location.

Room Tip: Room 4 is a spacious & stylish choice with views of the town.

Stayed for two nights in May and must say this B&B exceeded our expectations. Our room (no. 16) was stylish and very clean with a king size bed and plenty of wardrobe & drawer space plus large en-suite. The room was on the top floor at the front and the views across Llandudno and the sea were great although the oval window was a bit small. Breakfast was very good with a buffet of fruit and cereal and a full English brought to your table by attentive waitresses together with enough tea/coffee for about three cups each so we were both fully fuelled for the day. The owner left us in peace although I'm sure had we needed anything we would have only had to ask. Free Wi-Fi here as well which is very handy if needed. For us the Sefton Court was perfectly located as it was a short stroll to the promenade or the shops/restaurants of Llandudno and close to the tram station for the Great Orme. Despite being close to everything this was still a very peaceful location. Our next trip to Llandudno will definitely involve a stay at Sefton Court again.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front on the second floor have lovely views across LLandudno and the sea

Stayed here summer 2012 with my partner and 2 children. Cosy clean great location. Lovely owner to, left us to enjoy our holiday but was there if we needed her. Breakfast was perfect with a lovely view of outside. Alongside all of this, there is. Place to park your car. Will be returning this year to.

We decided to visit Llandudno at the last minute and were able to book just one night at Sefton Court (some places do 2 night minimum). It's a lovely old house and has obviously been redecorated and revamped over a period of time by someone with a good eye for colour and style. On a very cold weekend it was great to be in such a warm place. Bed was good, room was fair size, en suite and 2 chairs ! (the place was pretty full and as a late booking we presumably had a "lesser" room). The breakfast was excellent. Lots of fresh fruit of all sorts, various cereals etc and to follow my poached eggs and my wife's scrambled eggs were perfect. The staff were splendid too. Breakfast time seemed a bit tight (9-9.30) but it actually works well as you have everyone there creating a bit of atmosphere and the service was very efficient. We'd definitely return.

The Sefton Court is tastefully decorated & furnished even the budget rooms are well presented. the cleanlines is of a very high standard & nothing is too much trouble for the staff & the owners. The breakfasts were excellent & appear to cater for all tastes. Car parking in Llandudno can be difficult at times therefore the parking at the hotel was very useful.A 10 minute walk at the most gets you into the centre of the resort & the Great Orme tramway is nearby, the hotels location is just right for us handy for most things but far enough away from the razzmtazz, a quiet location.

Room Tip: If you book on the hotels website you can book the room you want if it is available. The rooms locat...

Stayed in room 9 which has excellent views over Llandudno. The room itself was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Would certainly recommend it. The parking at the hotel was extremely handy as parking in the town was very limited. The walk to the pier from the hotel was lovely, passing the Orme tramway which is only about 5 mins away from the hotel.

Room Tip: Room 9 had amazing views and very spacious.
