The room was massive and elegant. We stayed here on our mini-moon and would highly recommend it. We booked through rooms for romance so got a free bottle of wine with dinner.

Dinner was good and not expensive if you're used to Southern prices.

Overall the rooms are great if like us you want to lounge about, probably wasted if you're always out exploring.

Stayed in room 105 for 3 nights for a romantic getaway during the July heatwave. All the rooms are suites and are very spacious and immaculately clean. The bed is huge (and high) and very comfortable. The suite has some lovely antique furniture and ornaments, and the bathroom has a big bath with a separate rainshower and separate toilet. We took continental breakfast in the room on one of the days (delish) and the cooked breakfast in the sister hotel on the other two days (also delish). The restaurant food is excellent and I would recommend taking the bed breakfast and dinner option because it is very good value for money. A beautiful hotel with very good service. The best hotel in Llandudno I reckon.

Room Tip: The top floor suites are beautiful but next time I visit I will opt for a room with a bay window to...

Having read the great reviews and only living a short walk away we decided to give the place a try. Whilst very pleasantly decorated and nice staff the quality of the food and level of service was left to be desired.
I opted for the 3 courses for £20.95. To start I had the leak and potato soup, although very nice I had to ask for bread which did not come with any butter. The main course was Lamb which was very fatty and dry, I've had far better in restaurant's half the price. There also didn't appear to be any redcurrant jus as described on the menu. I also found the vegetables very hard, great if you like them that way. The warm chocolate sponge pudding would have wonderful if was served with a spoon, buy the time the waiter brought one over the ice cream had all but melted.

Maybe I just went on an off day? Not what I was expecting for this class of restaurant.

We ate here last night and the surroundings and food did not disappoint .

However we were asked to go to our table whilst having a drink in the bar and then had to ask the waiter 20 mins later to take our order. There were only 2 waiters and the older guy of the two was a most unpleasant and unhelpful guy making it clear he was busy and anything extra we wanted was just way too much trouble. Thankfully the other waiter picked up on the fact and really tried to help make it a lovely night

Our food was lovely we all had fish

The only other niggle was it was way too hot and other guests were also asking for the air on to be switched on

we decided to eat here after being tempted by 3 courses for £20.95.
the waitress showed us to a lovely table by the window.
In addition to the set menu we were also served warm bread with a vinagrette dip. delicious!
the 3 course meal itself was divine with plenty of vegetarian and fish options available. by the time it was sweet time we were stuffed but managed to force one down!
the service was very friendly and the waitress really looked after us. the ambience in the hotel was nice too. was that good we're thinking of returning again tomorrow night!!

We have to leave another review on this place just to say thank you again for another fantastic stay. This has been our 8th visit in the last 6 years and we would not choose anywhere else to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. The ambiance of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff and the overall feeling of well being as soon as you walk through the door of your fabulous suite (we love 101-Elizabeth) makes this our favourite hotel. We will be back.....
