The Osborne is a very warm and welcoming venue for any celebrations or friends gathering. The menu choice is suitable for all ranges and very reasonably priced. The ambience of the restaurant is very warm, cosy and romantic. The service was exemplary and the food was served hot and very tasty. The only negative was the restaurant chairs. They sink in the middle and hurt the back of your legs under your knees. I asked the waiter for a cushion which cured the problem for me. If the chairs are sorted this restaurant would get a 5 from me.

A wonderful stay with every comfort provided. A friend took me to Osborne House for a couple of nights to help me overcome a stroke which I suffered last year and it certainly did the trick. Our room was beautifully furnished with lovely sea views. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and as a result we breakfasted in house on both mornings rather than take the full English which was available at the Empire.

Room Tip: Apart from the one family room, all rooms are sea facing. Access to the upper floors can be challen...

We have visited Osborne House many times over the years and stayed over some time ago in one of their lovely rooms, we found it a lovely relaxing place to be, my wife often meets friends there for lunch and they are never disappointed, we had Sunday lunch there recently and as always had a lovely meal, we will be back soon.

Room Tip: middle floor rooms are the best.

We recently had a 2 nights' stay at this lovely hotel on the promenade in Llandudno, North Wales. The rooms are beautifully decorated with separate living & bedroom room. We have the 3rd floor room, even though the window was a little on the small side, we still managed to have a sea view (would definitely try the rooms on the lower floor on our next visit). First morning had the continental breakfast in our room which was very nice. The second morning we walked over (2 mins walk) to their sister hotel Empire Hotel for a full buffet breakfast which was great!

We had dinner both nights at the main restaurant! The food was really good & great service.

Would definitely return! Only little comment would be the room needed freshening up - it's a little tired. The window sills needs a coat of paint & couple of the chairs needs re- upholstery! Other then that this is a great hotel with very friendly & helpful staff!

Room Tip: All rooms are sea facing! If you want FULL sea view then the 1st or 2nd floor room would be better!

Very disappointing visit to the restaurant at this hotel. Although a lovely setting and decor , the service and food is letting it down.
As a party of 9 we had to pay a £10 deposit each, I eat out regularly and in large groups and have never had to pay a deposit! I find this very tacky and they clearly have no faith/ trust in their customers. We were told upon booking that we could order from the set menu as we booked for 6.30 when seated at 6.40 we were then told the set menu had expired!!!
Food was very average and very bland. Also having to ask for a drink 3 times was very frustrating and having to ask for the bill twice was even more so frustrating.
Needless to say we will not be returning to this restaurant in a hurry.

It is now 4 years plus since we first stay at Osborne House, on reading my previous review to refresh my memory it hardly seems like the same place. Coincidentally we had the same room again, but it would appear that very little has been done to maintain it since that visit. Sad to say it was looking a jaded and in need of a little TLC. The bed although large was tired and well worn, with the dents left in the mattress there was very little chance of rolling together in the night! It feels that costs have been cut (which is understandable in the current climate) but this shouldn't be to the detriment of the paying guest.

We had lunch on arrival, not very inspiring (cheap paper place mat and napkins), we were checked in and shown to our room by the same person taking our food and drink order and bringing our meal (although have to say he was a very pleasant and helpful young man), there didn't seem to be anyone "in charge".

Service in general was impersonal (which is something that I feel the sister hotel The Empire have always been excellent at). We ate in the restaurant both evenings - beautiful surroundings but average food. Service was rushed - as soon as starter finished the main course arrived almost immediately, we had the feeling they were trying to rush us through so they could pack up early. Bringing me to the bar, by 9.30pm they were tidying up and we felt obliged to take a nightcap to bed so to get out of the way. I realise they do say the bar will close earlier than 10.30 on quite evenings, but I think a little respect for paying guests would go a long way.

Finally the "speedy" check-out offered just made the whole experience feel rather sleezy. I think it goes without saying we will not be returning again for some considerable time.
