“One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 November 2012

I don't normally write reviews because the majority of the time hotels are pretty average, but this time I feel I should write something short to recommend it. I spend about 4 months of the year away in various hotels around the country so I've seen a few! I've stayed in the Clontarf a handful of times in the last few years and its probably one of the best. Fantastic hotel!

We've just returned from a one night stay; our first, but not our last.
A delightful hotel; we stayed in the Enchanted room and it was lovely. A real home-from-home; the room was less a hotel bedroom and more a room in you're own home.

Mark and Joni were fantastic hosts; nothing was too much trouble; from the refreshments when we arrived; to snacks being served in the lounge. Even the cat snuggled up.

Highly recommended; and when we go again, I hope we can experience one of the other rooms; just to see how it's styled.

We saw this on trip advisor on the saturday night and decided to go for the sunday night. We called to get the late deal and they had all gone! But Joni offered us a superior room for the same price!!! We were over the moon! It is a fabulous boutique hotel,
We were very warmly welcomed by all the family :-) Mark showed us to our room, the Romantic room it was just beautifull and spotless. The whole hotel is amazingly decorated to very high standard. It is clean, relaxed, welcoming and warm. I'd agree the best nights sleep I've had in a Hotel for along time.
The room was well equipped, extra blankets etc and beautifull products in the bathroom!
Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice, fresh fruits etc, nothing was too much trouble.
Will be visiting again, perfect!

We've just returned from another stay at the Clontarf and as always every thing was perfect. Joni and Mark are a lovely couple who have got the formula just right. Relaxed, friendly, warm and amazing rooms. The best beds that we have ever slept in as well. A good breakfast menu is available which sets you up for the day. Free WiFi is an added bonus. Long may you continue. We will be back.

We visited Llandudno for the weekend and found this hotel through trip advisor. It is a fabulous boutique hotel.
The interior design is outstanding - Joni has excellent taste. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the owner Mark who showed us around the hotel and gave us all the information we required for a lovely stay.
A wonderful lounge area, honesty bar, lovely dining room - fantastically decorated throughout. The room we stayed in(no 1) was fabulous with a lovely bathroom. It also had a great information booklet giving details of local attractions, walks and restaurants.

The hotel is situated on the west coast which is a beautiful location with stunning sunsets and lovely beaches. It is only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Llandudno.

Breakfast was excellent and served to order.

Will definitely return. A superb hotel with a very warm and friendly welcome- thank you
