“We'll be back!”
Reviewed 20 September 2012

Just returned from a three night stay at Can-y-Bae and as usual had a brilliant stay. Michael and Dave made us all welcome. We had our usual sea view room. Everything is always so clean and you meet such interesting people there. David booked tickets on our behalf for Starlight Express and we had great seats and one of the cast was staying there too! We will be back in the New Year!

My friend and I have just returned from a weekend break at this great hotel. The owners could not have been more helpful, and were most concerned when my friend did 'nt want a cooked breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic sea view, to wake up to. Some review commented on the price , but you get what you pay for and the view was well worth the price. I am hoping to go back and take my husband next time.

Room Tip: First floor front room

We have just stayed 2 nights at Can-y-Bae and have to say were very impressed. Hotel is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. All you could need in your room. And a lift. Michael and Dave both really friendly and welcoming, and their staff too. Breakfast was delicious, very nicely cooked, plus plenty of cereal, juice, yogurts, fruit, toast etc. We just couldn't find a fault, enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be going back as soon as we can. A big thanks to Dave and Michael xx Lyn & Rob, Redditch.

Room Tip: We didnt specify, and went for cheaper option, so had room at the back, still very nice, but next ti...

David and Michael are the most welcoming people you could wish to stay with. Nothing it to much trouble for them. We stayed in a group whilst doing a show at Venue Cymru, there was no need to go out after the show as we could just go back to the hotel and have a nice quite drink there.
Location is great a nice short walk into town.

We stayed here last night and we think it is a great hotel. The owners were kind and funny, the breakfast was really yummy (delicious cooked breakfast, plus toast, cereal, yogurt etc and all the tea/coffee you could drink). Bed very comfortable, and the sea views were to die for. Really well placed for shopping too. Rooms super-clean - we pretended we were from Three in a Bed and checked for dirt - none at all! Would definitely go there again!

Room Tip: First floor sea view room looked really big.

In Sept. 2009 I wrote a review ( From Beauty to Beast ) regarding another Hotel in Llandudno which over the years had rapidly declined. On recommendation from the Tourist Board we transferred to the Can-y-bae. Our first visit was unbelieveable, such that we had to go back again to make sure it was not just a " one off " experience. Having since visited several times, last being Sept 2012, I decided to make the world aware of this little bit of Heaven on Earth, only to find, on reading the current reviews, that everyone has beaten me to it. I find it difficult to add anything else to the comments already made. Over the last three years we have stayed in several of the bedrooms, and found them all to be comfortable to superb as is the food and service, nothing is too much trouble for Michael and Dave. The only fear in concurring with the previous comments is that we may now have difficulty getting a booking. With this in mind my wife and I have already made three bookings for the next twelve months. Ann & Ray, Newcastle, Staffs.

I had the great pleasure of staying at this hotel during a recent trip to Llandudno.

The hotel is ideally situated for the beach and pier and its just a short pleasant walk to town or the theatre.

The rooms are of the highest quality and the sea view quite breathtaking.

The attentiveness, depth of interest, friendliness and can-do attitude of the staff Dave and Mike is world class and can only be described as good old fashioned service.

To summarise the hotel is quite simply perfect and in a class of its own.
