Very nice B&B. Both the room and bathroom were clean, quiet, well-sized and well-appointed. Bed was very comfortable. Generous portions for breakfast and a good variety of foods. Within walking distance of everything. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful.

If I had to find something to complain about, it would be the wifi in the room was a bit spotty (this is made clear on their website though). It worked fine in the lounge, however, and I was quite happy to sit there and enjoy the view of the ocean as I worked.

This was our 2nd visit and yet again faultless .
Sadly it was only for one night as we were attending the theatre to se Cats.
Service first class, spotlessly clean and very welcoming.
Breakfast cooked to order and was delicious and plentiful .
The staff can not do enough for you nothing is of any trouble at all.
Location very good and particularly if attending a show at the theatre. Well done all and many thanks, already looking forward to our next visit.

Myself and my friend have just spent 4 nights at Can y bae in Llandudno. The standard of the B&B was the best that we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. We both received a warm welcome from David and Michael. Breakfast is the best and not to missed. Well done it's must be the jewel in the crown for Llandudno.

Room Tip: The rooms on the front have a wonderful view of the whole of the promenade

This is the second time that my partner and I have stayed with Michael and David and, as before, it was a joy. If you want a sterile, corporate chain hotel then for goodness sake don't stay at the Can-y-Bae. But if you want a warm welcome, enjoy good food, excellent company and fun banter with your hosts, this is the place. Our only disappointment was that we didn't see Rollo the dog this time! While you enjoy a drink, spare an hour or two to appreciate all the theatrical posters, photos and memorabilia that grace the walls, it's a remarkable archive. The room that we had faced the sea and was first rate, breakfast freshly cooked and service top notch. Next time we're in Llandudno we'll be back at the Can-y-Bae.

I have just returned (1st June) from this Hotel after a wonderful 1 night stay.

When we arrived we were given a little brief introduction to Llandudno with recommendations of places to go which was excellent. We were shown to our room on the second floor which had a beautiful sea view across the bay of Llandudno. We were told a couple of things about the room, including what the cords were in the bathroom (one for the shower, one for the light) which was a big help. I have stayed in many hotels and B&B's and not many, if any, have taken me up to the room and explained a few things. It was a perfect little touch and a great start to our break as we were made to feel very welcome.

The room was exceptionally clean with nice little touches. Some of the little freebies in the room included mints, bottles of water, usual toiletries with the added luxury of a nail file and cotton wool buds! The biggest bonus for me was the GINGERBREAD men on the hospitality tray which were very quickly gobbled up with a cuppa :) plenty of bits on the hospitality tray which meant we never ran out of milk!

After a lovely day in Llandudno we came back to the room and watched a little bit of TV, only negative we will say is that the TV is too small but it's not even a negative really because with such a beautiful bay in front of the hotel who needs a TV!

The beds were very comfortable and we had an undisturbed sleep and when we woke up were knocked up by a seagull on the window ledge! :)

Overall a fantastic stay, we would definitely stay here again and make sure you take in the recommendations that the owners will tell you about because we popped over to Conwy and had some beautiful home made ice cream!! Delicious!!

Forgot to mention the breakfast! Great breakfast, very tasty and hot.

The service in the hotel is second to none so do not delay and book today!

Thank you for the amazing stay, we will be back.

My mother, wife and I stayed at Can-y-Bae for one night, and we were all sorry that it wasn't for longer. The hotel was hard to find as we were searching for Mostyn Crescent and the sign was hidden by a parked car!! It is in fact in the centre of the Promenade and a short phone call to Michael soon had us settled into the lounge and then our rooms. The hotel has a lift which was neeeded for my elderly mother, it is in a seafront location and our room had a wonderful sea view; the rooms were immaculately presented and spotlessly clean with both hair dryer, iron and electric trouser press! The breakfast was served downstairs, literally and was delicious with a wide range of options. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner Michael in particular made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We would be more than happy to return and spend more time.
