We have just returned home from yet another very enjoyable stay at The Can Y Bae.We only stayed for one night this time but have already booked to stay again in August. Both Michael and Dave really do make you feel special and a valued guest or perhaps i should say friend which is not always the case now a days.We have stayed in one of the sea view rooms in the past but due to us only booking the night before we had a room which looked over to the welsh hills at the rear.It was a good sized family room with a double and bunk beds and as always very clean, good selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate drinks and toileties in shower room.Would also like to say thank you to the lady who works there, sorry i dont know her name, but she is always so very pleasent and helpful. So roll on August and our 3rd stay at the Can Y Bae.

We enjoyed the experience of staying at this hotel so much we have already booked again. for September. The rooms were clean and tidy and were well equiped with all you needed. The location was great as it was facing the sea, and close to the shops, theatre, and the cable cars and the tram to take you up to the orme, what we really enjoyed was how friendly everybody was and the food was excellent , I would recommend having dinner there as it was all home cooked and you have a good choice of what to eat being meat, fish or vegetarian meals, it was a 3 course meal and was really good value.

The Can Y Bae is right on the sea front in the middle of the bay, it is the perfect location.
Both Michael and David were great hosts, always polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
The room we had was on the small side but still value for money.
The breakfast was brilliant and the evening meals we had although limited in choice were excellent .
The Welsh Whisky wasnt bad either!!!! My mother who is 83 really enjoyed herself and is already asking when we are returning.
I am sure it wont be long before we return to this great hotel.
Thanks again Michael and David ..not forgetting Sue and Phil

The service at this hotel is absolutely excellent. The staff ( Michael, David and Sue)are very friendly, helpful ,extremely hard working and very good natured . Nothing is ever a problem. Our room overlooked the bay and was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had all the facilities we needed. Breakfasts were well cooked and there was a good choice of both cereals/ fruit and cooked meals. We decided to opt for an evening meal on our first night and never ate anywhere else all week ! The food was FANTASTIC. Even my elderly father who can be a bit fussy thought 'it was great'. David should be awarded a prize for his steak and kidney pudding which is without question the best I have ever tasted. Michael should have an award for his sense of humour and ability to make everyone happy!
The hotel is ideally placed on the sea front. It is very close to the theatre and all the shops. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - First class! Six stars! Thank you!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights and were more than happy. David and Michael were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Our room was spotless and the bed comfortable. The public areas were well kept and clean. The bar was cosy and the photos on the walls were a talking point. Breakfast was great, with a choice of cereals, followed by a good selection of cooked items and toast. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Can-y-Bae to others and next time we visit Llandudno we know where we will be staying.

Ask for room 15. Front centre with wonderful views of Lllandudno bay.

Best B&B breakfasts since I don't know when.
