Just returned from our first overnight stay at the Lauriston Court and will certainly be returning. Carol-Lynnand Ian were most welcoming. The location of the hotel was fantastic along the sea front opposite the pier. The room was fabulous with excellent views, very clean, well decorated and a very comfortable bed. Parking was organised with no fuss and the breakfast was very tasty. Certainly the best accomodation we have stayed in within Llandudno (stayed at quite a few!) and will most definately be returning.

Thank you for such a lovely review. We enjoyed having you stay with us even for just one night...it does us all a power of good to 'escape' and recharge batteries occasionally.
We look forward to seeing you both again in the not too distant future.
Thank you once again.

I stayed at the Lauriston Court with my partner - I was on a business trip, he came along for a break. The welcome from Carol-Lynn is so warm and she is so helpful. We arrived at 8.30pm on a Friday evening, ready to have something to eat. Carol-Lynn pointed us in the direction of The Queen Victoria pub just around the corner, where we have a decent meal. Our bedroom was overlooking the Promenade and the sea and it was a great view. The bathroom was a little on the small side for two people, but the room was very comfortable. The guests' lounge is beautifully decorated and overlooks the Promenade. It has a TV and a small bar. I was attending a conference at Venue Cymru which is a lovely 10/15 minute walk from Lauriston Court along the Promenade. Breakfasts were tasty and there was plenty of choice, from fruit, cereal, toast and a cooked breakfast. We ate at Osborne House on the Saturday night which is a few doors down from the Lauriston Court. This is a real find - beautiful decor and food. Lauriston Court is well located for the shops, literally a minute's walk away from the main shopping street, if that. My partner played golf on the Satruday at Maesdu Golf Club which is only a mile away in the car. We would definitely return to Lauriston Court for business and pleasure.

We arrived on the Friday afternoon, I double parked to get the bags unloaded. As I was on my way to my room when Carol told me to drop my bags theres a space, she jumped into the space for me and I parked right outside the B&B. Carol then gave me a parking permit to use for the weekend, I thought this was a thoughtful thing for them to supply as they dont need to. They do have off road parking available.

We were on the top floor with a great view of the Pier and the Seafront. Carol and Ian have recently taken over the Lauriston and are currently working their way through the rooms upgrading furniture etc.. However the rooms are of good standard and very clean any way.

Both Carol and Ian were very welcoming and friendly, we enjoyed many an evening sitting in the newly re done front room that is now a small Bar with comfy seating and 2 seats in the front window where you can sit and watch the world go by, Carol and Ian would sit with us sometimes and take a genuine interest in how our day had gone and our plans for tomorrow. My wife enjoyed sitting in the window reading her book and relaxing.

We loved our stay and have already re booked again, Carol has a saying, "arrive as guests and leave as friends" I really do feel this sums up the whole exerience here.

Just returned from another great break at the Lauriston Court Hotel. Having visited this hotel several times over the last eight years, I was a little concerned to hear of a change of proprietors late last year, and unsure on what to expect. I’m glad to say everything was fine, and in fact the changes made enhanced what was already a great place to stay. The changes to the lounge/bar area, and the creation of an outside patio area are definite pluses. The breakfasts (try the scrambled egg) are spot on. The rooms are tastefully decorated and provided all our needs. Last but not least the new proprietors Ian and Carol take great pride in their establishment and it shows. Their friendly welcome and service rounded off a great stay and I’m sure we will be returning soon.
