“Welcoming, comfortable hotel on the seafront”
Reviewed 12 April 2012

We stayed in a very comfortable family room at the Lauriston Court Hotel over Easter weekend to attend a wedding in Llandudno. My parents and their friends also enjoyed the Lauriston and were lucky enough to be able to stay a few extra days. Ian and Carol Lynn could not have been more welcoming, from the moment we first arrived when they kindly lent us their car park space outside the hotel, to booking us taxis to attend the wedding reception. They recommended a lovely nearby restaurant at the Queen Victoria, for our evening meal and we all enjoyed the chance to relax with a drink in the sitting room on our return. A delicious full-Welsh breakfast was served by friendly staff in the basement dining room, our two teenage girls were very happy with the sausage sandwiches they specially requested! On Easter Sunday every guest received an Easter egg which delighted young and old alike! The hotel is ideally situtated near the pier and the Great Orne - the cable car to the top was great fun, though a bit chilly! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this superb seaside hotel. Teresa, Mark, Elinor & Isobel (also John & Elaine)

Thank you both very much for your review we appreciate it very much as will others.Room No 4 is our most popular room because of the size and the bay window. We like to be able to point guests in the right direction to help enhance their stay and not miss the best.We are pleased too that breakfast was a success.
Many thanks and we look forward to seeing you once again.

Just stayed for a couple of nights on a round trip of Chester and north Wales.
Superbly clean and well presented hotel, and one of the best breakfasts you could wish for. All the good reviews you read of this hotel are absolutely true in my opinion!
You'll know you've chosen the right hotel when you see some of the others, some of which are the worst for wear.

Room Tip: We would recommend a sea view room for just a small amount extra.

Me and my partner stayed at Lauriston Court over the Easter weeeknd with our young daughter. The hosts Ian and Carolyn could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and furnished in a nice modern style. The front bar was great for a few drinks overlooking the pier and was very well stocked! Breakfast was also lovely - a full Welsh with lots of locally sourced ingredients and the girl whoi served us could not have been more attentive and friendly. A really enjoyable stay - would highly recommended to anyone!

We were greeted by our two hosts who arranged our parking directly outside the hotel. They welcomed us very warmly, I am disabled, so my room was immediately inside, and was just perfect, the decor was beautiful and an excellent walk in shower. The sitting room with its honestly bar was just lovely. My family went out to walk up Snowdon so I stayed behind and was so well looked after,by Carol Lynn, Ian and Becky. Ian telephoned two nights and booked tables for meals for us, which again was such a good standard. We will definitely be returning. A gem of a Hotel, in a beautiful spot.

We arrived at The Lauriston Court Hotel on Wednesday for a two day break in Llandudno to the warmest welcome by Ian and Carol-lyn. From stepping over the door step to leaving we were impressed, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious in a lovely dining room. It's very refreshing to be looked after by people who really enjoy looking after people! Look forward to next time we visit to sitting out in the sun with a G&T on the lovely new patio furniture that arrived while we were there.
