We stayed here for my birthday..12th-14th September....absolutely wonderful stay....we arrived to a very warm welcome...we stayed in room 8 on the first night...beautiful decorated room...lovely comfy bed we then moved to room 7 on 2nd night so we could savour the sea view yet another gorgeous room. The bar area downstairs is a lovely cosy comfortable room with an honesty bar that has just about every drink you can think of and breakfast was absolutely amazing beautifully cooked. Ian and Carol are deserved winners of the trip advisor award they are just so lovely and caring about their guests and their needs, nothing was too much trouble. we would definitely stay again and definitely highly recommend a stay here

We booked this hotel following the impressive article we read in the National Press, best B & B in the world. We happened to be in Llandudno at the time and called in, Ian and Carolyn were very helpful and showed us a room which was ideal for the three of us, we booked it there and then. It was everything we wished for, beautiful decor throughout, comfy beds and pillows, immaculately clean, what a good start. The first evening we visited the well stocked honesty bar sat and enjoyed Ian's laid back company, wonderful. Breakfast was a delight, dining room beautifully furnished, cereal and fruit bar well laid out, the breakfast was cooked to perfection, and served by friendly helpful staff. Carolyn and Ian are the perfect hosts, couldn't be more helpful, and great company. The location of the Hotel is ideal, and we never had a problem parking the car. We enjoyed it so much we have booked in for next year. Big Big Thank you to Carolyn and Ian. Deserves the No.1 spot.

My husband and I stop in lots of hotels all over the world, but Lauriston Court is one of the best! I have visited Llandudno all of my life and normally stay in The Imperial or St. Georges. Lauriston Court is better than either of those. We stayed in room 1 and it was beautiful, it didn't matter that we didn't have a sea view as the room was perfect. Although we didn't make use of the honesty bar, it was a lovely room and great idea (you serve yourself and state in a book what drinks you have had so you can pay when you check out). I am vegetarian and they cooked me a special breakfast, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The couple who owned in gave us a friendly welcome, and bent over backwards for us during our short stay. My husband loved the SKY TV and free WIFI too. The location is perfect as well, we visited due to my Father having a memorial bench on the pier, and all we had to do was cross the road to the pier. Perfect hotel in every way!

We booked this Hotel for a one night stay on the strength of its No.1 Trip Advisor rating.
We were not disappointed. The Hotel easily lived up to its reputation and the previous guest reviews. Nothing much more to say. An excellent Hotel in every way, well worth its No.1 rating.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room - wonderful views across the bay to the Little Orme

We, two grannies, were looking for a seaside break to take our 3 and 6 year olds just for a couple of nights as their first trip to a hotel. We were not disappointed by the hotel from the initial booking enquiry onwards we were impressed by the relaxed yet courteous and professional attitude of the owners. Nothing was a problem and they did not fuss, just made our stay very easy.
The room with bunks for the kids was good and very clean and the highlight for the children was the breakfast buffet, which was very good. Breakfast was excellent, we all enjoyed it. The whole experience was excellent.
We are under pressure to go back next year which I hope we will be able to do.

Room Tip: The booking system has photos and good descriptions.

The recommendations alone were enough to make us book here. What a stunning place it is too. Ian and Carol were the perfect hosts, and even changed our room to the 1st floor when hearing of my disability. Beautifully decorated room, furnished to a high standard and the views of the promenade and sea were fantastic. Felt really at home here. The breakfast was gorgeous and the choice was varied and plentiful. This hotel is probably the best we have been to to date. Will certainly take some beating for the price. Booked to return when we get married next June :) Absolutely fabulous.

Many thanks Ian & Carol.

Garry 'n' Alison.

Room Tip: Any sea view room is going to be a winner.

We've been back to Llandudno and stayed again at the Lauriston Court Hotel. Its situation in the town is fantastic - the pier, Great Orme, shops, restaurants and of course the sea front are literally a stones throw away. Ian and Carol-Lynne are the perfect hosts and make you feel very welcome. We stayed in a different room this time - unfortunately not a sea view but as before comfortably and tastefully decorated, very clean with a smart bathroom. (We've already booked our next visit for March 2014 to guarantee a sea view!). Breakfast was delicious: cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, croissants and Welsh tea cakes. In addition, of course, there was the wonderful Welsh breakfast or smoked salmon with lightly scrambled egg and a muffin - if you like a tasty and hearty breakfast you will not be disappointed!
We also enjoyed a couple of drinks in the evening from the well stocked honesty bar and I was tempted to play a few tunes on the piano. Overall a fabulous place to stay and already looking forward to next year's visit.

Room Tip: Book early for a sea view but you will not be disappointed with the quality of the rear view rooms...
