The Broadway Hotel
Ranked #34 of 60 Hotels in Llandudno
Reviewed 5 November 2012

I visited the Broadway Hotel at the weekend with my parents and my sister. Although the hotel didn't look sparkling from the outside, it was in a great location in the heart of town and a two-minute walk - if that - from the beach. We received a warm welcome from hotel owners Marc and Sheryl, and were shown to our rooms.

My sister and I stayed in room 202, a twin room, which had lovely decor and a big window offering a lovely view of the town below us. The ensuite bathrooms in both our room and my parents' room (204) were very modern and well kept. Although the hotel was in the heart of the town, we were not subjected to any noise from outside - the only noise we experienced in room 202 was from the baby elephants staying in the room above us but as long as you don't have any particularly noisy neighbours above you, you'll be fine!

Breakfast was a full Welsh cooked breakfast, with toast, cereals and juices also readily available. The breakfast was really tasty and not too fatty, as is often the case in many seaside B&Bs!

Overall, we had a fantastic weekend and all agreed that we would happily stay in the Broadway Hotel again on our return to Llandudno.

Room Tip: Room 202 has a lovely view, with a table and chairs in the window so that you can really enjoy it!

Blink and you miss it.Not a hotel that stands-out.Its setting on a corner kind-of looses it,,and its steep stoop of steps to access the hotel are NOT for folks with mobility issues.BUT,once in.WHAT a gem.The staff,OH WOW,lovelly people. The well appointed first rate rooms offer very clean accom. Its was a delight to stay there.Prices were good too,,,

Room Tip: Id use sat nav,if your comming by car, parking is an issue in the town.

My friend and I stayed here last night (Tuesday 29th Oct 2012} we are both around 60 and I am disabled. There was a few steps up into the hotel but I managed. We had a very warm greeting and was helped with our bags to the lift and our room was very close when we arrived on our floor. The room was spotless, very slightly dated but this didn't bother us. Double room very comfortable bed, very clean bedding, {crisp white}, hanging space for clothes and a very modern en suite {spotless}. One minute walk to the seafront and shops closer, there was a few cafes and restraunts close by for those eating out. We had a good nights sleep in a comfy bed and an excellent breakfast. On leaving staff helped us with our luggage to the car parked over the road. Thanks to all for making it an enjoyable break.

I stayed here for one night when I was in Llandudno for a conference. The hotel is in a brilliant, central location one block from the beach, and in the centre of town. The staff are very, very friendly, the room was fresh and cozy and the breakfast was incredibly filling and tasty - all for 30 quid! The bed was a bit hard and not exactly to my liking, but it was good enough for a princess like me. The only down side is the toilet, or something to do with the water tank, sounded possessed. When you flushed it groaned and made horrible noises...which also happened randomly during the night. It was amusing more than anything, but if you are a light sleeper don't stay in room 103. That being said, I'd stay here again.

Room Tip: Room 103 has a noisy toilet, so perhaps ask for a different room if you're a light sleeper.

We stayed for a short break. The hotel was fantastic value for money and the owners were really helpful, helped carry our bags up the stairs, moved their car so that we could park behind the hotel in their car park and recommended restaurants and booked them for us! They couldn't have done more. The breakfast was excellent, a fantastic choice of anything that you wanted and toast and hot drinks kept on coming! The service was also excellent, we didnt wait for anything. Our room was at the back and was really comfortable, quiet and very clean. We saw some tables ready for dinner but we didnt stay in although if we had been there longer we definately would have. You really must try this hotel
