Haven't had any Italian we decided based on Travel Advisor reviews to try Mama Rosa. We had the Garlic focaccia bread, the antipasto the Bolognese and the Arabiatta pasta. All were very good and the service was fast and very friendly

I come here regularly. The staff are really friendly and the service is fast. Great variety on the menu, reasonably priced. The food is delicious and artistically presented. Little things like perfume, hairspray & wipes provided in their clean washrooms make it all the more welcoming. Defiantly the place to go if you're looking for a nice romantic evening!

We read a lot of reviews on tripadvisor before deciding to go to this restaurant. We were not disappointed with our main courses they were delicious. But we shared chocolate fudge cake for pudding - it was rather a small portion and I have to say it did taste like a shop-bought one - nothing special - it would be a good idea if they made their own. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and we would definitely go there again. I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the upstairs and the decor is lovely with candles and hearts etc.

Booked this restaurant, last minute, as highly recommended by Trip Adviser's top 10 places to eat in Llandudno. However, on arrival, the atmosphere on the ground floor was positive and lively but we were put upstairs where things weren't the same- decor dated, clean, but not an inviting environment at all! Staff were friendly but it took ages from ordering to receiving a bottle of wine. The food was average, overly extensive menu and not wholly authentic. Ordered a second bottle of wine as we were served our main course. This never arrived. To make matters worse, on receiving the bill, we had been charged for the non-existent bottle of wine. An apology was offered but this added to the disappointment and definitely won't be back. First impressions count for everything.

Visited this restaurant as was assured authentic italian cuisine by my sister who had her birthday celebrations here a few days earlier.

We arrived and took the last available table as they had all been booked, we were greeted and seated nicely, got some help with picking the wine as we were overwhelmed with choice. We purposely ordered some traditional dishes and some specials as my friend is an executive chef at a restaurant herself and always tries to taste a fair few dishes. Everything we had was perfect, even the children polished off their mains after a starter which never happens!

Great place, great food, great prices! My new favourite restaurant in Wales! Staff are young and attentive especially the dark haired lady serving Friday night. Thumbs up, enjoyable experience had by all.
