This was our second visit and on a Friday night we struggled to get a table but found the last one in this very busy new restaurant. The starter of meats and cheeses is wonderful and fun and I would highly recommend it. I went for the porcini tagliatelli and my husband the gnocchi with tomato sauce. both super delicious and all the pasta home made. So, yes the mini is limited but so far two good meals and great house wine at £13 a bottle. It is a great place to go for drink and starters or a full meal, friendly, keen to please and now we just need them to be open for lunch! I really wish them luck!! My only complaint is that the chairs and tables just do not go together a bit of a jumble and could use some thinking to get them working together..

My family come from Parma and out of the blue this restaurant has appeared in my home town. The food is wonderful and the service excellent all that lets it dwon is the lack of wine from the region but they are putting that right they say and anyway that was made up by the Tortelli which is to die for.

Having visited this establishment recently I feel I should let people know that the menu is exceedingly limited especially if you enjoy meat dishes.

Wanted to visit since passing on opening week, due to the overall appeal of the venue. The interior is authentic and welcoming. A couple of months in, there is still work to do on staff training. Menu is limited as others have stated, but these days surely most diners explore this beforehand? If pizza & pasta is quintessentially Italian, then the menu is fine! Slightly more meat choice perhaps. Starters were very authentic and the small 'charity' lead pasta dish (heavily featured in the news regarding worldwide Italian restaurants) was ok, bearing in mind only £5 goes to the venue. Pizza was very good, although could have done with slightly more pepperoni slices. Aubergine dish was very stodgy & too cheesy. Desserts were excellent. Slight issue with bill, which should have been dealt with much better by the self-styled 'manager'. Overall, with a few tweaks, this restaurant could do very well.

Great atmosphere, lovely food and wine. Menu is not too long which made choosing a lot easier. Will definitely return soon.
