This mansion is large and full of many different interesting objects. It was a family home from 16th Century onwards and has furniture, art, china etc, all the usual things one would expect. It also houses a collection of Constable paintings, kids toy room, dining rooms etc. ALL FREE as it's owned by Ipswich council. Of interest to all ages, a good couple of hours worth right in the centre of town.

Loved this place to pieces,

Had a great time with the family and theres so many different things to keep you busy, especially when the weather is nice,
We were able to feed the ducks on our day out, and get an ice-cream from one of the small cafes located inside.

it's quite a big park, and you can cover a lot of ground, plus the squirrels all seem to be quite friendly so it was good for my son as he loved how close they got!

It's free and theres plenty to do would go every day in the summer if I could!

There is so much to do in this park, which is set on a hill overlooking the town of Ipswich. Lots of lovely walks are available, including some through an arboretum where the flowers and shrubs are worth seeing. Two large ponds are home to many ducks. There is an excellent play area for children to enjoy creative play within a safe compound and there is a vast amount of grassed area for playing ball games and other games.

I took my kids here and they loved it. The play area was great and they had a fun time. There was a tea room and duck pond and loads of people walking their dogs. I don't live nearby otherwise I would go frequently. Well worth a visit

Nice walk after visiting the Christchurch mansion - has even a little pond, groomed lawns and century old trees along the walways
