Owner description: Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is in the middle of the beautiful county of Suffolk in Eastern England and is a small livestock farm breeding farm animals that were once common but are now very rare. It's a great time to bring your whole family to the farm to meet the piglets, feed the goats and let the kids loose in the play area whilst you settle into the calm surroundings with a piece of homemade cake or a cream tea.

We decided to visit for the first time and we are all so glad we did. The farm is clean and all of the animals are very well looked after and look they have a wonderful life. The goats walk around with you which is lovely for the kids to experience. There are plenty of different animals for the whole family to enjoy and a beautiful lake side walk. It is just the right size so that the children didn't lose interest. We would definitely return next time we visit.

I go with my daughter lily a lot as she loves feeding the goats. Sometimes special events are laid on like sheep shearing and food festivals which are well worth catching. It's a small place but we love it and it's tranquil. The cafe is excellent too and the staff are lovely! I recommend fully!

We've been visiting for the last 5 years with our little girl and this place is FANTASTIC! A proper, small, rustic farm animal experience - loads better than Jimmy's rip off Farm! You can get really close to all their animals and there's a pleasant short walk alongside a river/stream with ducks and wildlife.
The tea room serves a great cup of tea and the home made cakes are heavenly! They also usually have a gluten/dairy free option - my daughter can't have dairy/soya & they gave her a delicious orange/almond cake which she loved - the lady even wrote out 3 of her best recipes by hand & posted them on to me!! ... The older man behind the counter (farmer) is a tad solemn but don't let that put you off! ... Picnic tables outside to take your own food and a small play area. They also have special events & lambing sessions open for the public.
