Stayed for one night with my son. Fantastic breakfast and lovely pool which was very quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a little dated but clean and didn’t spoil the stay. Would certainly stay again.

We arrived 21st June 2018 for one night with dinner bed and breakfast included and full use of the spa. on reading the negative comments what others have put, I was quite hesitant. We had a lovely time, surroundings beautiful, helpful staff, food absolutely delicious. Can not find a negative thing to say. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you

I paid £144 to stay here for two nights which included breakfast. The swimming pool area is lovely itself but the changing rooms are like a public swimming pools which is quite offputting. The standard double room is big enough but the fact there was no aircon made the heat unbearable at times. We had to sleep with the window wide open to get air circulating the room which made me anxious as anyone could of got into the room due to noise from the fan keeping us up during the night. There is no fridge in the room which made it hard to keep our drinks cool and the walls are covered in cracks and dirt. The bed was very comfortable though which was a positive aspect. I feel like the room needs a complete refurb as it is evident is is worn out. The buffet breakfast was very tasty and the staff were very friendly there which was lovely. There wasnt any robes or slippers advertised to us which lost the feel of being in a "spa" hotel. The hotel location itself isnt far from the centre of ipswich which made using taxis cheap. For £144 for two nights i am pleased i stayed here as it is a very reasonable price.

I've stayed here on a number of occasions, the rooms themselves are quite dated however they are equipped with the basics; tea/coffee making facilities (smallest kettle in the world), hairdryer and TV. It would be great if they had fridges in the rooms, as the rooms can get really hot and therefore if you want to keep a cold drink or anything, that's just not an option.

Staff have always been extremely helpful and polite.

Room Tip: "Garden Rooms" are in my opinion the best ones!

Have used the swimming pool many times(I am a member of the leisure club)the pool is fantastic but changing rooms are in need of updating as is the hotel generally. Also the access to the car park is in urgent need of repair.
