We've stayed at harbour Heights on a few occasions now, and generally like this Hotel. The staff have always been friendly and helpful when approached, the breakfasts are good, the rooms are comfortable, if dated, but the jewel in the crown is the veranda and stunning views across Poole Harbour.
The rooms, at nearly £300 a night, for a weekend in the summer, are in my opinion expensive for what they are, and have seen better days. Also, charging for parking on top of this is, quite frankly, a liberty (that's when you can get a parking spot!).
Having said all of that it is placed on Canford Cliffs, overlooking Poole Harbour, and that view, in the summer, is beautiful.
We will probably stay here again, but would like to see more Staff, especially in the bar area, and a refurb of the rooms would make the hotel charges more palatable.More
