Stayed here two nights after the other half found a deal on groupon. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, plenty of parking and fantastic location. Check in was nice and easy, staff very welcoming. We were disappointed not to get a sea view room, they also looked like nicer up to date rooms, the one we had was very dated and had we booked at full price I would not have been happy. Old and very unpredictable TV, took 5 mins for the tube to warm up to get a stable picture. No safe in the room? Tea and coffee facilities were limited.
The Spa was a big disappointment, hot tub broken, outdoor pool very cold (to be expected at this time of year I guess but would be good if it was heated). Indoor pools were poor, not warm enough and the jets pretty pathetic, steam room and sauna were ok though the sauna in the men's room was also broken. Could all do with a good clean and facelift. Maybe I am being harsh, but this hotels location deserves so much more and would make a big difference from it being a good to a fantastic hotel.
We found the restaurant food choices fairly limiting, we ended up going into Poole Quay for dinner on the Sat night. That said, breakfast was fantastic, lots of choices and the view simply amazing.
Overall it was a good stay, but with time and money this hotel could be an amazing weekend break - the staff, breakfast and views are the main reason for the very good mark, without them it would've been average.

Just returned from a 2 night Groupon fantastic deal at this most amazing location.
Check in was speedy and polite. Room overlooked ferry with great views. Room on the small side with tiny tired bathroom.
That was our only moan.
Staff are very polite and helpful, amazing bar with almost 360 view of the harbour and sea. Sat there for too long and spent a few quid on just one more!
Breakfast very adequate and service was good on both mornings. Big beach walk into Bournemouth and Studland Bay to walk off the calories.
We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening as menu not to our liking.

We will be watching Groupon deals and look forward to returning in the near future.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for a weekend break and felt as if we'd had a week away somewhere, it was so good! Our room was large and light, with a beautiful panoramic view of the Pool peninsular, the chain ferry chugging away on its way to Sandbanks and Swanage. The food was delicious, room service faultless and the staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and always cheerful, no matter what we asked for. Nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly be returning in the not-too-distant future. There is an outdoor pool and an outdoor hot tub, which was heavenly. The indoor spa was excellent and the only down side was the fact that they don't have treatments on a weekend. Had we known that, we would have booked something for the Friday instead of waiting.

Room Tip: It's well worth the £15 upgrade for a sea view room with a balcony.

My husband and I stayed at the Haven Hotel, Sandbanks from Sunday 9th- Tuesday 11th March.
We had a lovely stay, and had glorious weather, we did not think
we would be in the outside pool in March! so this was an added bonus.

The hotel was very comfortable and the food was delicious, we were made to feel quite special
and this was due to the wonderful staff at the Hotel. They were all so courteous, and I would have no problem in recommending your Hotel.

We will definitely be back for a further visit.

We recently stayed at The Haven Hotel for a short 3 -day break. The hotel is in a wonderful location on Sandbanks by the chain ferry between Sandbanks and Swanage. The staff are kind and very helpful and Matthew, who took our cases to the room, refused a tip saying "it was all part of their service". Our 3rd floor room was very comfortable with a great view of Swanage and the ferry, but the bathroom could do with some updating. We thought the food for the evening meal was very good with plenty of choice and friendly service. Breakfasts were excellent, although the choice of bread was poor. However, nice croissants were available.

There is a great spa with indoor whirlpools and an outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi. We were able to swim outside in March which was very unexpected. Great terrace to sit and have drinks overlooking the water. The spa can only be reached by walking through the dining room, so you need a robe, which the hotel will provide, and the changing rooms need a makeover. We were told this is happening after Easter.

We booked a promotional break, which we thought was excellent value. We would stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Great views from the 3rd floor sea view rooms

We stayed here for one night and booked a standard room, we had a lovely sea view from a nice little balcony. The spa area was lovely as were the massages. Booked a table in the restaurant in the evening, the food was really good. There is a nice outside terrace to have a drink that overlooks the sea and beach, breakfast was also good with plenty of choice.

We stayed here in January with a Groupon voucher given as a Christmas present.

Our room was newly refurbished, on the top floor and was, spacious, airy and with some nice touches. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom well equipped.
Although refurbished the sound proofing wasn't great and at multiple times (not late at night) we could hear our neighbours.

The quality of the food was good and the pricing of the bar menu was reasonable. We chose not to eat in the main restaurant as the menu didn't take our fancy. The hotel should consider having more seating for bar food as it was rammed whilst we were there.

The highlight for us were the leisure facilities, a great outdoor pool and hot tub was complemented by a small pool sized Jacuzzi. We spent the majority of the evening using this area.

Breakfast was great, we were seated in the 'overflow' section which was right on the seat front. Great views with great quality and varied food.

We then enjoyed the rest of the morning walking off breakfast with a walk a long the beach.
