This is definitely worth spending the time and making the effort to go on. I wasn't able to the last time we went to the RNLI College to stay but I made sure that I made some time to do so on this occasion and I was very pleased I did.
It's not just a tour of the facilities but a history of the RNLI and Poole itself really. The guide was very knowledgeable and a credit to how much interest volunteers can add to an organisation.
The Simulator and visit to the Pool are very interesting to see how the crews train but just understanding the facilities that are available and a small portion of our donations goes towards is a great experience.
