What an unlikely delight. Directed by slightly eccentric (in a good way) proprietors we, two 50+ adults, did have some trouble finding the secret door to the start of the trail, holding up some eager kids behind us. Fortunately we regained some cred' by managing to quickly identify the thief.
We spent ages in the forties room, bashing away on a typewriter, reminiscing over 'Janet and John' books, wind up trains and all manner of things.
Finally we came away with an adventurous four book and various 19th century inspired stuff to remind us of this great place, soon to close.
Two hours well spent.
