“Short trip saved miles in the car”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2013 via mobile

This is a nice little Ferry £3.50 over to Studland from Sandbank, saved us a few miles when travelling to, Corfe Castle. Also if on foot and just want the beach on Studland or a walk on nature reserve over there just £1 return.
Great engineering the chain link ferry also.

“Good but expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2013

One to do when you're in the area but at £3-50 it's a bit steep, but then again it does land at Sandbanks!!
Not much too it really and it does add to a circular tour if you start at Poole got Wareham, Corfe castle, Swanage, Studland and across to Sandbanks
That's a good day out to us and one we do once a year if possible

“A very good service”

The ferry is free for foot passengers and takes about 5 mins to cross from Sandbanks to Poole. The boat was clean, and there is seating upstairs in the open air or downstairs undercover.

Very efficient service and friendly staff! Enjoyable way to cross over both in the car and on foot. Only £1 for foot passengers with 'free return'.

“A childhood dream revisited”

Fantastic way to travel. Cuts journey time down to a fraction and you get an old fashioned style adventure too. We love it and will take the ferry at any opportunity we can. Watch the long queues in the summer.....
