Excellent for a night over especially if you are catching the boat to the channel islands. checking in is quick, rooms clean and tidy - bed comfortable and breakfast really good

Room Tip: it's only a stones throw to the boat so no need for a really early start and the hotel guarantee...

We had to stay over to travel on to another destination. We arrived very late and were still met by a warm, helpful welcome. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room made up and ready for use which is wonderful at 1am with 3 children. Very clean and well organised.

Room Tip: If you want to arrive late or have a cot make sure you phone ahead and they will have it all ready i...

I stayed here for one night - Room no 4. Reasonable clean room on the ground floor and everything one would expect from a Premier Inn. Only two quibbles, firstly the price, £95 B&B for a mid week stay - a bit more than the 'from £29' quoted in the adverts. Secondly, my towels were reminiscent of sand paper. The adjacent holes Bay pub was welcoming with great service. Didn't see Lenny Henry...........

We stayed last week in the newest block in room 45 on the ground floor. We found the staff on check-in very friendly. We came when the weather wasn't so good, so I can't report on the hot rooms other people have talked about. Very clean, breakfast very busy but the staff were helpful.

Overall very happy.

Room Tip: Try for the newest block as these rooms only opened a couple of months ago.

Booked one night stay to take 3 year old grandson to Monkey World and after looking on here for various other attractions became slightly worried about the reviews. Should not have been. Did not have any issues with air conditioning as weather was not that warm so cannot comment. We had booked two rooms both family, very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Went to the restaurant for dinner, very busy we were told that there would be a wait. We asked if the three year old could be fed first, was told that they would do their utmost to arrange this and they did. Breakfast the next morning our waitress was extremely helpful and the breakfast was very good. No complaints at all, we will return to this part of the country and we will go back.

Well, where to begin!I'd booked to stay 1 night in the morning of the day we stayed, and after a 5 hour journey, was looking forward to a comfy bed and getting my children settled down for the night. We checked in at 9pm, only to discover the childrens beds NOT made, nor my 10mth old baby's cot ready. The receptionist advised us to pop back in half an hour,so we went over to the big ASDA opposite,so get some supplies.By this time, my older Twins are getting very tired, and I am too! We arrived back after giving them over 45mins, now the time is nearly 10pm and they'd only just started making up the beds!!So we had to stand there another 10 mins while they prepaired the room! The bathroom stank of fag smoke, and the bed seemed suspectly itchy! All this from a hotel which bostes 'the best night sleep gaurenteed' Yeah right! For a staggering £96 a night, this is a total rip off!!
My 8 year old son was still impressed tho, but when he said out loud when they were prepairing the room ''this is luxury Mum'' the worker replied with a smurk 'NO COMMENT'' so it seems the staff know all to well what this, so call Premier Inn is like?Very disapointing! Spend your well earned money elsewhere!

Room Tip: maybe if you got a late rate and were assured your room was ready, you MAY have a good night? I defi...

Thw stay was terrible. I would not recommend this hotel at all. The staff seemed as if they really were doing a favour to come in for the day. The attached restaurant sold very bland and overpriced food.
On a positive note they did have comfortable rooms although despite verbally recon firming they were not the joined rooms we requested as we have two small children aged 2 and 4.

Room Tip: There was not a pool.
