young inexperienced staff who try their best but what do you expect at a budget motel? So therefore can be organised chaos at times. Food OK. Many contract workers staying means noisy bar area. Attention to health and safety dubious- fire doors wedged open even after fire alarm incident! Do not provide continental breakfast charges. Have to pay for eat as much as you can so rip-off for cornflakes and a slice of toast. Despite all this woud stay again as the Premier Inn down the road at Holes bay is worse. Poole north used to be better in fact it was quite good and the they changed the staff and it went down hill. One other thing- for a motel owned by a brewery company how can you explain running out of lager?

Room Tip: ask for one on the quiet side and take your own pillows

We booked to stay for 3 nights but as the service was so good, we asked the staff if they were able to arrange for us to stay for 4 instead. The room was great, food was spot on, mark on reception and mark in the restaurant really looked after us and did a sterling job. Will diffinatly go back. Only a few miles from town, beaches and Bournemouth, great location.

I like Premier Inns and have found them to be good value with a nice breakfast served.
Poole North though is let down on several scores.
There is poor sound proofing from the main road that runs along the back of the property, no air con in the room and a chef that can't cook an egg.
It is one of their more expensive branches; I can't see why as it has no special attraction.
The staff, and there are many off them, seem to be young and in training. I never felt they were in control of giving you a good stay.
This poor stay will not put me off using Premier Inns, just this one.

Room Tip: If staying here get a room at the front and ask for air conditioning in the room.

Excellent PR warm welcome and the desk staff very helpful in finding directions and avoiding holdups on the roads around Dorset.
Wonderful breakfast with as much to eat as you wish. Only down side is that you have to pay for the full breakfast or take thae grab and go breakfast (crossant and drink). They have dropped out the Continental Breakfast so if you only require that you are paying more than you require.

Room Tip: Rooms on the North side are cool and away from the sun.

I can only give praise to Premier Inn the rooms were clean and comfortable.
It was nice to have a choice of pillows not the normal rock hard ones that most hotels provide.
I really enjoyed being able to make a cup of tea first thing in the morning just like being at home.
The breakfast was superb well worth every penny. Excellent produce and plenty of it!
When looking for a budget hotel again Premier Inn will be my first choice.

Excellent from start to finish; very good staff, pleasant and helpful; good restaurant, again good service and nice food; comfortable beds.

I would definitely stay here again, even if it is a bit off from the center.

First impression as I drove into the car park was what have I done! as the outward appearance of the hotel and location were not inviting. However upon entering the building the décor was pleasant and we were warmly greeted by a very friendly professional receptionist she made a fuss of our daughter and explained that there was a duck hidden in our room and that if our daughter could find it to bring it to reception where she could exchange it for a bag of sweets a nice little touch. The room was the usual premier inn layout with a King size bed LCD TV and functional bathroom. We ate at the onsite restaurant for breakfast which at £8.25 per person would have been a little pricey but our children ate free so was actually very reasonable. The breakfast was served buffet style with a wide variety of hot and cold options. As we had booked the room in advance we only paid £39 a night and us such it was exceptional value for the room and the level of service we received. Will definitely use this establishment when I visit the area in the future.
