On getting to the hotel at quarter past midnight after getting off the ferry in Poole we were greeted by a very pleasant young lady who very efficiently gave us the key to our pre booked room.
The room was far too warm even with the window open, the air con in the room was not working and the hotel who had not advised us either on the night or on booking was undergoing major works on the air conditioning with contractors on site. (A letter had been left on our table in the room advising of the major works). Obviously guests should have been made aware of the improvements BEFORE they arrived if pre booked.
The noise from people gossiping and smoking in the foyer area prevented us from sleeping for over an hour as did the noise from vehicles arriving late and the leaving early morning.
The restaurant was very good though the toasting machine was prone to discarding toast to the work surface behind the machine, the waiter when informed of the defect laughed it off stating "It always does that" well if it always does that REPAIR IT!!
Checking out was quick with not even a thank you or goodbye from the woman behind the desk who couldn't be bothered to even smile.
An awful nights sleep an awful place to stay, though very convenient to the ferry terminal to Spain. We won't go back.

Premier Inn's are often quite nice, but this one felt rather tired and was far away from Poole and we felt like we were on an industry estate. Had to stay In the hotel for the evening, which was disappointing as room was tiny.
We booked a family quad room, and yes, it did have one double and two single beds, but room was so small, one of the singe beds partially blocked the doorway into the bathroom.
In fairness, the Staff were nice and did the best they could, but a relief to check out!

Under £100 for a family of 4 including breakfast booked the day before - great deal. Clean comfy rooms. Helpful friendly staff - better than most posh hotels. Don't know what they pay them but they all smile!

This was our 2nd stay here and as expected everything was excellent for a Premier Inn. The staff were all welcoming, helpful and appeared to be interested in where we had come from and were going to. Perhaps that was because we were in Portsmouth awaiting our ferry crossing to Guernsey. Everything was up to the usual high standard we now expect from Premier Inns. We will be using them again when we travel to the UK fro the Channel Islands.

Thank you for reviewing your stay with us. As a hotel close to the ferry terminal we are often used as a stopping point when either coming or going from the channel islands. I am glad to hear that we were everything you expected, We are glad you will be returning to us and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

My wife and myself stayed at this Premier Inn last week for 4 nights, although my wife had a problem with the bed on first night (two beds joined together ridge in joint annoying) when I mentioned this in the morning we were instantly moved to another room across the corridor, this bed did not have a join - and was excellent, we were reimbursed for the first night - can^t ask for more. All the staff were so friendly and helpfull, special mention for Sharney at breakfast. We had a good time exploring the area - would thoroughly recommend this Premier Inn

Room Tip: rooms on car park side are quieter

Thank you for takiong time to review your recent stay with us. I am sorry to hear that you were disturbed by the ridge between our beds. These are our Zip-Link double rooms which can also be used as a twin, which is why the ridge is present. For future refence if you wish to not be allocated to a room with this type of bed please do not hesitate to call us and request this. We will try to do anything we possibly can to provide a great nights sleep in any way possible for us. But I am glad to hear this was resolved swiftly and that you enjoyed the rest of your stay with us. Again thank you for taking the time to review us. We hope to see you again soon.
