My room was on the top floor, which wasn’t a problem, until I started walking - the whole floor creaked, as did the bed. I went to make a drink and the mugs and glasses absolutely stunk. Even after washing them in washing up liquid, there was no way I could drink out of them. The drink I had made and not drunk, stayed on the table for 2 days!! I did have two armchairs, but a table between them would have been a good idea. There was no telephone or clock in the room. If I had been unwell, I couldn’t have phoned for assistance. There was no hygiene bags in the bathroom, which I’m sure younger ladies would need. Being a senior citizen I can’t eat a large breakfast, and asked if I could just have toast. I was charged £7.50 for 2 pieces of toast!! The breakfast didn’t look great either - most of it was dried up, especially the eggs.
I have stayed at Premier Inns before, but I won’t stay at this one again, even though it was a great location for the ferry and where I was travelling.More
