Description: With it's exposed beams, cosy benches and big oak barrels, our place on Poole Quay is one of our favourites. It's just at the start of the High Street, right by the water. Grab a seat in the sun by the window and enjoy the view or watch our chefs working in unison upstairs in the open kitchen. See you at the bar!

“Fantastic pizzas and cider”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 via mobile

We love this place - The pizzas are amazing and have very interesting flavour ideas. The 20 or so ciders are also great. The decor and whole concept of the place is unusual but well thought out and the service has always been very good. It is a great asset for Poole Quay - go there you won't be disappointed!

Reviewed 24 June 2014

Had a fantastic dinner at The Stable last Sunday night! The Perbeck pescatarian pizza, the longhorn Jim and the Brownsea Bantam were lovely pizza's, freshly made and very tasty! Very easy to get a table and would recommend to anyone for a good night!

A beautifully decorated bar/restaurant with great service, offering a wide choice of pizzas, salads and wraps with unusual but delightful combinations of toppings and fillings.

“Great tasting pizza - local ingredients”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

The pizza's are unusual but tasty and they use local ingredients. The cider selections are great including a cider tasting board. Good service and tasty food. It is worth a visit.

“Thinnest Pizza Place”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Lovely evening, warm and sunny, strolling around decided to give this place a try. It has changed hands over the years but the menu looked inviting. The interior is good, upstairs lots of benches and large tables, ok for larger groups. Ordered their 4 Dorset cheese pizza and a Goats cheese and walnut salad. Came within what seemed like 5 minutes, hardly time for a pizza to cook! That was due to the fact that it takes only a matter of seconds to cook something the thickness of a poppadom. I'm not a fan of thick based pizza's but this was way over the other end of the scale.. and there was very very little cheese on it..the salad was much better but perhaps a little heavy on the honey, it had nearly glued the rocket together but it was much better than the pizza. The cider was wonderful. I don't think we'll return.
