We've been here a couple of times over the Easter holidays and surrounding weekends and it has been brilliant.

The middle of the building is a cafe which is light and airy with nice staff and good, reasonably priced food. Either side is a soft play and an ice rink. Our little one is only 14months old so I can't comment on whether they are any good, but everyone looked like they were having fun.

There is an outdoor space too, this is where you can bring your dog, which is a bit small for busy periods but nice.

This is a great place to stop off if you're spending the day in or around Poole park.

This is the place to go if you would like to tire your children out. It is non stop fun, climbing, sliding, and jusr generally having fun. There is a restaurant which serves great food and drink. Next door is an ice rink small but great fun for all.

We've been here a number of times with the children (aged 3 to 9) as they love it. They can burn off energy in safety whilst Mum and Dad enjoy a coffee and the natural beauty of Poole park.

My only request to the owners would be to turn up the air con on hot days and to add a little more milk to the very strong coffee! Feedback I have passed on.

Take your kids here with confidence they will be worn out in a relatively short period of time!

We wanted to do something a bit different for the little girl we foster for her birthday, so decided to book an ice skating party at The Ark, Poole park. We had a choice of sharing the rink with other parties or hiring it exclusively, and seeing as it was the same price we chose to hire it just for us. The staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make it as memorable as they possibly could. During the party the children were joined by Tux the cuddly skating penguin, which was a massive hit and fab photo opportunity too. We had the whole rink to ourselves (and in my opinion very cheap for what we had!!), exclusive use of the party room and space for the adults to have a relaxing cuppa. We had 22 children at the party and they were all able to be seated around 3 child sized tables. The level of hygiene and cleanliness was immaculate, as were the toilets which could be accessed in the rink area.
In our party we had one child with a broken arm and he was able to access the ice safely by sitting on one of the seals that was then pushed around and have fun. They also had large plastic penguins for the children to hold onto to enable them to skate and balance. Wheelchairs are also allowed on the ice. Parking at the rink was also very easy and free!
A huge thank you to the manageress and to Kieran and Chris (who we assumed was in the penguin costume!!). They all took time to chat to Jas and the whole experience was first class, child centred, family friendly and just full of wonderful memories!! We will definitely be back!!

Visited today with family, couldn't get into ice rink as private party! So went into the play area which was very well presented and kids loved it!
Major negative loads of staff on and no one wanted to clear or even clean the tables! Come on get a grip! Do parents want to bring their kids to somewhere dirty?
