A warm welcome from Pat and a lovely clean, well furnished room. Disappointed no decaffeinated drink option provided in the room. I do think this should be available as standard and not require a request which was accommodated on our last night. Lovely, tasty breakfast each day only let down by margarine instead of butter being provided. Also jacuzzi bath did not work on the first evening. Shame our tea tray had been removed from our room on the last day whilst we were at breakfast thus making us feel we should be on our way.
I would suggest Danecourt is a good place to visit. Had these minor irritants not been experienced we would have marked 5*

We had a wonderful two nights at Danecourt Lodge. The room was clean and bright with plenty of wardrobe space. The room also had the largest ensuite bathroom (with separate bath and shower) we have ever had in a B&B. The property was within easy driving distance of Poole town centre (or, like us, you can walk through the nearby Poole Park to the quay and Old Town, which is about 3 miles away). The B&B was very clean with a lovely garden, which the guests can use. There was also sufficient off-road parking for us. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful (the fruit salad to start was delicious). Pat was informative and helpful - giving us some great ideas of local places to visit such as the deserted village of Tyneham. There was also plenty of places to eat/drink within 10 minutes walk from the B&B.

We have just spent four nights at Danecourt Lodge and we couldn't have wished for better accommodation. The rooms were spotless and very tastefully decorated with everything you could want. Breakfast was the best we've ever had at a Bed & Breakfast. Pat and Ron are excellent hosts!
Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

My husband Tim booked Danecourt lodge as a surprise for our Silver wedding anniversary. What a wonderful place it was! We stayed in the back bedroom over-looking their well kept garden. Lovely and clean and wonderful hosts. Once Pat had shown us to our room she made us feel really welcome with a pot of tea and cakes. We would definitely stay there again and recommend Danecourt to any of our friends staying in Poole. Thank you

We have stayed at Danecourt Lodge for several years and have finally come round to writing a review. Well where can we start..... Pat and Ron are wonderful hosts, i can honestly say it is like going to our second home. The rooms are well presented with spotless bed linen, towels and toiletries for personal use. There is a TV and digital radio and tea making facilities. Breakfast is a delight with fresh fruit salad with yoghurt, cereals, full English breakfast, smoked salmon and scrambled egg, kippers, toast and jams, tea and coffee all presented in a delightful way. We leave well rested and looking forward to the next time.

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Danecourt Lodge for the Easter weekend break. Pat made us feel very welcome straightaway with a pot of tea and biscuits. Our room with a large en-suite bathroom (and the rest of the B&B) was absolutely spotless and beautifully presented. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be returning to Danecourt Lodge and would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to family and friends!
