Just home from a great weeks camping. Fantastic site, lovely pitches well looked after. We had a our large tent on High Beech near the woods. Our daughter loved the adventure playground and slide etc. The pool was an added bonus as we had excellent weather. Site is located within easy reach of Poole and surrounding areas. Definatly recommend a stay.

we have just arrived back after a weeks stay here and had a lovely time, never had so much space around the tent which was fab for our puupy, when we arrived the grass had worn in our pitch and the chap quite happily offered us another pitch where we wanted, showers always hot and clean although you have to keep one hand on it to keep water coming which can prove a little difficult at times!! was very busy but quiet and peaceful at night times when the club had finished, but enjoyed sitting around the tent listening to the singers/bands whilst my 11 year old played until 11pm!! my only cpmplaint was trhat 3 times i had to take somethimg back to the shop as it was out of date so check when buying!! We loved this campsite but probably wouldnt return the only reason being is that youy couldnt walk to anywhere so we had to van it everywhere we went which was sometimes a pain, but aprt from that brill.

i never write a review until i have stayed at a venue 3 times
however ..if i had wrote it after my first stay it would of read the same …real friendly place with equally friendly staff..from check in to departure all the assistance i required was there without asking ..cannot fault the venue, the staff,or the facilities with special reference to the well maintained outdoor swimming pool…GREAT FUN for kids and adults alike
am looking forward to my next visit …which will be my fourth visit this year ..will not be my last
thank you….. BEACON HILL

We stayed at this park for a weekend and really enjoyed the tranquility of the site. It is surrounded by woodlands and lakes you can fish in. There is an outdoor pool, with heated water and tennis courts.
Pitches are set six metres apart, which allows plenty of room for awnings and privacy. The facilities are clean and appropriate for cleaning utensils and other equipment.
The shower blocks are clean, with plenty of hot water.
Dogs are allowed on the site and in the clubhouse. There is a large screen and relaxing settees. Opposite there is a games room for children.
We enjoyed the peacefulness of this park and will return again next year.

We only stayed one night en route to France but we found Beacon Hill to be an excellent site with great facilities with a warm welcome thrown in. It has it's own fishing lake and bar. Showers and washing up areas were super clean. They had specific dog friendly areas. The dog walk up the hill through the pine forest was simply great. Thanks again

As we live locally this was ideal for his first camping experience.well what can i say brilliant only stayed two nights but had a great time clean natural looking park level pitches wild life swimming pool kiddie play area fishing lakes all the staff were pleasant and very helpful as this is a review I suppose I would have to find some fault this would be the shower block next to reception its just a bit dated the shower water was very very hot and the floor when wet is slippery my wife nearly fell over not something that you want when you have a 3 year old to look after, or for anyone in fact, just some safety flooring would be advisable before someone has a serious accident.

As far as security went, we saw them on both days and night, on our last night our son come to see his son (our grandson) and within a couple of minutes of our son arriving security come to us to see if all was o.k.very pleasant and polite.
