We spent 3 nights here. It was ok, kids liked it, but didn't go in the swimming pool due to poor weather. The fishing lake was not very good, my son and his friend never caught a single fish in 6hours. The woodland was very good and if you follow the route you will end up in a lovely local country pub :-))) The staff were very friendly, can't fault them. Cleanliness was above average while we stayed. We were given a very small pitch where there was lots of room on the field, but it was more sheltered. Our friends were more exposed and their tent got flooded in the rain. Good thing was fire and BBQ are allowed on this site which is all the fun for the young ones, but fire has to be off the ground.

Just had a great two weeks in our caravan, weather was not too bad, site fairly busy and is well run with clean showers and wc's.

Beautiful site with very friendly, enthusiastic, efficient staff. Best location near Poole I think.

Lots to see and do and near the beaches. Freddie enjoyed the free fishing on the two lakes and making lots of friends with whom he played footy.

Will be back next year for sure!

This was my second visit to this site. The first in August 2013 was quite frankly terrible. The most recent over the bank holiday in August 2014 was so much better.

The site management is vastly improved, and the site is now better maintained, facilities are cleaned regularly and well, and though it is still very busy the site was quieter and more relaxed than last year.

A great improvement and I would go back again, and suspect that when it is quieter that you get slightly more room.

A great improvement. Keep it up and the ratings will keep on improving.

We stopped here for a couple of nights in our tourer so we could go to the Bournemouth Air Show.
Upon arrival the staff were friendly and gave us a choice of pitches. Our one was huge!
We went to the club house in the evening which was small and the entertainment was so corny it was actually funny. We had a good time
The real let down was the cleanliness of the facilities. At one point the urinals were over flowing and then taped off for hours. During this time 2 staff cleaned the pool for two hours. Seems like priorities were all over the place.
Showers and toilets were dirty no matter what time of day you went and the facilities couldn't cope with the demand
The on site cafe and the shop was expensive but we didn't use them so didn't bother us
This could be a great site if the showers and toilet were brought up to date and kept clean

Room Tip: Get near the clubhouse as the toilets are more modern there

We stayed here after attempting to stay at another near by camp site. This camp site is the best in the area. The staff were very friendly, the pitch was massive and gave us the option of leaving our car on a hardstanding parking or beside our tent. The pool looked very clean, the showers were always good. The toilet block was ok, not great but as a camp site it was good. The location is great as only a couple of miles into poole or bournemouth. This is the only camp site i would return to, its very nice. The people who go here are friendly, i can't really fault it. The only reason why i gave it 4 and not 5 is because of the toilet block not being cleaned every few hours. Which to be honest is probably me being harsh, but to get 5 that is what would be required..and of course a price increase, which i would gladly pay.
