“Interesting but scruffy”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

A bit too tatty round the edges. Was expecting better shops and restaurants on the front. Very difficult to park even though we has disabled badge.

“Great atmosphere, many interesting boat trips”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

There is much to see and do in Poole Harbour, ranging from visiting the RNLI station to watching the yachts and cabin cruisers going by and taking boat trips to various destinations and round trips. Plenty of pubs and informal restaurants line the quay and there is a pleasant shopping centre nearby. In the High Street you will find the excellent local museum (free entry) and nearby, a very interesting model shop and an independent record store selling many long-deleted disks, CDs etc.

“A Glorious Harbour”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

2nd biggest natural harbour in the World, but with bags more history than Sydney... and a lot closer.

“Day out at Poole”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

As a family we really enjoyed our time in Poole. The harbour is fantastic and some of the boats and yachts on display are just amazing! The town itself is very nice, plenty of modernisation going on but sits nicely with the existing shops and pubs of which there are plenty. A lovely way to spend a day for a family.
