Beautiful individual rooms with everything you can wish for, from the lovely toiletries to the home baked biscuits to the very comfortable bed this place is just great with lovely seating areas in the gardens, views over the fields and the owners can not do enough to make your stay comfortable. Coffee was served with cake and biscuits and excellent value at £3, the home cooked breakfast is just outstanding and the food in the restaurant very nice too.

I'll be back, just hope this gem of a place does not get too popular as they only have 13 rooms.

The extra little touches make this place just perfect for a relaxing break or to wind down after a busy day on business. How often do you come across a hotel that has nail varnish remover in the bathroom for ladies, free orange juice in the tiny room fridge and the very sweet (hotel) cat who welcomes you when you get back from work ??

Room Tip: the rooms in the cottage on the grounds are just lovely, but my colleagues stayed in the barn conversion rooms which were just as nice. All of them are great except maybe the pink/orangy room which is a little too 'sweet' for my taste.

Our visit wasn't for motor racing but to let my wife experience this exceptional establishment. I'm glad to say she was impressed - with the very comfortable accommodation and wonderful food supplied by the welcoming David and Heather Armstrong. The little extras and attention to detail make quite a difference, eg bath robes and slippers, chocolates and even ground coffee and a cafetiere. Evening meals are of gourmet quality and the menu choice at breakfasts is excellent. David's porridge is recommended and I also enjoyed the rare lapsang souchong tea. Home made marmalade is served in a china dish - much better than the usual B&B's sticky marmalade jar which I hate.
Make a booking - you won't regret it!

Room Tip: You have to walk outside to get to the restaurant from some of the rooms. If you have difficulty walking note that some of these rooms have a few steps to climb to the restaurant.

I have been staying at the adorable Clow Beck House for last 9 years and in all that time could never once find fault. Heather and David are superb hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Heather works incredibly hard in keeping the place modern, clean and immaculate and as front of house would embarass most 5* hotels. David, what can I say, an incredible chef and whilst there is an extensive and delicious menu will conjour up any dish you desire.

The rooms are beautifully decorated with every need catered for and the gardens are to die for.

In all the years I have stayed at the Clow Beck, I have never found fault or have had any need to moan let alone complain. Business travel is always a chore but when you find that special place it makes it all the easier to be away from home.

I would not hesitate to recommend this place to my closest friends and family and if you need somewhere special to stay in the area you would be crazy not to stay here.

Room Tip: They are all superb!

Over the past 10 years I have enjoyed the amazing welcome Heather and David provide at Clow Beck, fantastic rooms and wonderful food. It is ideal for solo, family, couples and family visits - I have experienced all. I don't know how they do it but it just gets better and better.

Room Tip: They are all fantastic!

We picked Clow Beck House after reading reviews in Trip Advisor and were not disappointed.
We felt it was like visiting friends or family, you are made very welcome something that the owners of a certain establishment in Grantown on Spey lacked.

The bedrooms are all lovely with many extras like robes, slippers, chocolates, sweets, orange juice, water, nail varnish remover, hairspray and all the usual extras.

The food is good and quite pricey but with very large portions and they will go out of their way to make sure you have something you like or cooked the way you prefer. We had boiled potatoes, saute potatoes, chips and vegetables.

The bedrooms are not in the main house and you need to go out your room and up some steps to the lounge and dining areas.

It was very peaceful and relaxing and we would like to visit again if in the area.
