“Excellent food”
Reviewed 18 April 2014 via mobile

We went to this pub for lunch on Good Friday. The food was excellent and portion sizes very generous. Definitely recommend the fish bake, which was perfectly cooked, and the burger (homemade from meat from a local farm). All topped off with great service. We'll definitely be back!

“Lovely surprise”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

Our granddaughter and her fiance, took us, as a surprise. We had never been before, but we will definitely return. The food was first class, from a smallish menu, but with a nice selection of dishes. The atmosphere is good, the tables well spaced and excellent service. Our steak, fish and pasta dishes were all very good and presented nicely. Overall, it was a nice relaxing evening and no wonder it's so popular.

“New Owner Just What Was needed!”
Reviewed 27 March 2014 via mobile

Visited the re-opening of this pub/restaurant last week and was really impressed by the taster menu on offer. We tasted most dishes from the new menu and all were tasty and obviously home made.

What is nice to see is a lunchtime menu designed for a quick bite, ideal for myself and the family.

Another big plus is the additional of extra cask ales!!!!

We will be back soon
