We had never been in the Wakefield area but needed an overnight stop and were so pleased we decided on this location.

Reception area bright and spacious and warm welcome from receptionist. This is obviously a new or recently refurbished Inn. Red Kite restaurant next door excellent.

We would return here.

Room Tip: We were given 228 which overlooked an orchard and was very quiet

Premier Inn was suggested to me as a place to stay for a night prior to a business meeting. Never used before but now my default choice! Comfortable, clean and functional - all for a low price. Great!

No fuss, clean and straight forward hotel to stay in with good parking and near to main roads. Breakfast was good but overpriced if you did not make a pig of yourself! Reception manned 24 hours so now problem getting help if required.

We stayed for one night, and found all areas of the hotel to be immaculately clean, the staff welcoming and friendly - as advertised we had "a great night's sleep"

Breakfast the next morning (Sunday) however was a huge disappointment. There were 2 staff on duty, to clear tables, take and deliver orders for cooked breakfasts, refill the continental breakfast buffet and bread for toasting, refill mugs, coffee machine and side plates - as well as greeting and seating guests. We waited for mugs to arrive, waited 10 minutes for bread, and gave up on the side plates.

The staff on duty were working very hard, and the gentleman on reception was also helping out ( then dashing back to reception when guests were waiting there), but 2 staff were completely inadequate for a 50+ seater restaurant. From comments made by other guests, we gathered that this was completely normal for a Sunday!
What a pity to spoil an otherwise lovely stay, rather than employ a couple of staff (students maybe) to work on Sunday mornings.

Excellent stay. Very good booking service at short notice. Very clean - disabled access room was very well appointed. Very good service from staff and outstanding breakfast with a wide range of organic products. We will be staying again.

Room Tip: Disabled access room on the ground floor was very good

Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean, amazing all-you-can-eat high quality breakfast and very attentive welcoming staff. Stayed there in January 2014, and again in May 2014 with my wife, my daughter and her partner and their three children. Would definitely stay there again next time I'm within 30 miles of the place!
