I've been to the sculpture park several times and I always have an amazing time. A great way to explore the outdoors whilst encountering different sculptures placed around the park. Fantastic for a walk but be prepared for the weather. Also there is a great shop to spend your money and the cafe does excellent tea, cakes and hot baguettes. There is a charge for the car park but a wander around the park is completely free!

It's a wonderful place with great views and installations that are wonderful to see. Car parking at 8 pounds isn't a big issue for the day either. What utterly amazed us was that in the cafe we were charged £25 for 2 sandwiches a couple of bags of crisps, yoghurt and drinks. Just eye watering high prices on everything there. Quality wasn't anything to write home about either.

Great day but bring your own snap.

Much bigger and much better than we expected. It was a lovely sunny afternoon so we managed to cover a large part of the park. It's great that the children can touch and get close to a number of the sculptures and the coffee shop was also an excellent place to stop for a break.

What a great little find, completely except for parking which is expensive (£8 for the day) but as you can imagine admission fees for a whole family would be more expensive. Pack a picnic and some walking boots and enjoy and explore

Yorkshire Sculpture Park has got to be the crown of Yorkshire's many attractions. It attracts some of the very best international sculptors to exhibit and seeing their work spread throughout the stunning parkland of Bretton Hall is a true feast for the eyes. It's an ideal day out with children as they can dash around and have quite an adventure as each new work appears. The facilities are very good, although not especially cheap, but when you consider the only other thing you have to pay for is the parking, well, I'd say it's very good value. We visit it at least four or five times a year.
