We visited here because we believed it was a 'water park'. It came up under 'beaches in Google search.
Upon arriving we were sorely disappointed, having packed swimming costumes and items for a day by the water...
Parking was £3.
There are lakes with some sand on the edges. No swimming is permitted.
The free park is very poor and someone had their dog in the park despite a clearly displayed 'No DOGS allowed'.
The bigger park 'Playworld' cost £3 for kids with under 2's free. Being somewhat disappointed already we avoided this park.
Instead we opted for the Indoor Play Area which costs £1 per child. Next we did the boats for £1 per person and the kids did the Bouncy Castle £1 for 10mins. (Since it was more or less dead, we were on the boats for over and hour and the kids used the bouncy castle for 30mins approximately).
The reason I gave 2 stars is because the name 'Waterpark' suggests something more than lakes.
The people were friendly and the area was nice, but not what we expected.
