Premier Inn Taunton Ruishton (M5, J25) Hotel

Nothing at all wrong with the hotel, usual high standard one expects from Premier.
They really need to ditch the Restaurant next door, poor food, poor service - very amaturish. Premier are not prepared to do anything about this - staff in hotel can't help
Rating is for hotel only

Room Tip: If you need to stary at Premier, try Taunton East - Good Beefeater

Stayed for one night only. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean, tidy and comfortable room. Very impressed. Did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on that.

Wow!! What a wonderful Premier Inn!
We believe its the best Premier Inn we've ever stayed in.
We was given Room 6 which was large, clean and airy. Plenty of room for a family of four.
The staff were very friendly and helpful & made my kids feel special too by learning their names. In fact we had tears because they wanted to stay another night.

Check out the carvery at the Blackbrook Tavern - very reasonable.

Lovely hotel lovely staff - Thank you Premier Inn

Room Tip: Our room was Room 6. It had the wow factor!

While it is hard to expand on my title of this review, the only negative is that there was obviously some maintenance in my room prior to my stay-there was dust&screws and a tiny amount of debris left in the bathroom. However this was nothing in relation to how great everything else was. The receptionist (who I understand is leaving this month) was fantastic - so friendly & helpful to me as I was on my own & had not stayed here before. Pub next door does full carvery or regular menu if you fancy that. Will stay here again definitely!

overall very pleasant and helpful staff, but found the service for dinner was slightly lacking, took too long to be attended to considering it was quite at the time, may have been a one off.

Room Tip: go for annexe, closer to restaurant.

Usual clean and spacious room and friendly/helpful staff. Very quiet considering on the front of main building facing the main road. A bit nippy walking through the snow to the pub next door for breakfast.

All in all an ideal place to break up long journey to Devon for a Monday morning meeting.

Free wifi in pub next door was a bonus.

I was met by two very helpful very professional ladies on the reception who seemed genuinely keen that we had a very good stay. The room was spotless, I stayed for two nights and the room had been cleaned during the second day whilst I was out to work.

There was a short (100m) walk to the pub (sorry can't remember the name of it but it wasn't owned by the hotel) for evening dinner and breakfast - all food was very good and reasonably priced, the lady that waited on for breakfast was fantastic and really cheered up my morning on both occasions and the breakfasts were individually cooked and there was lots of other cereals etc available too.

Will be definitely returning
