We, parents of the groom, couldn't have hoped for a better wedding venue. Fabulous gardens for photos. Everything was 5* from drinks and canapes at 1 to the delicious meal at 2.30 to the 5 o'clock cake and punch reception and on until 12 o'clock. The staff were fabulous. Very many thanks to the kitchen staff and chef for the meal and Gary and the team for their care and attention.
We stayed in The Cottage with sister and brother in law. Sitting room, conservatory/dining room, decking with chairs. Two bedrooms and a fabulous bathroom. Wish we could have stayed longer.
** If there is a couple who don't mind sharing a bathroom then the cottage is where to stay. Amazing value for so much space!**
We had coffee on the decking at 7.30am listening to birdsong and enjoying the sunshine before walking over for breakfast. (Although we could have done with more milk as we were 4 people.)
Breakfast was anything you wanted from simple self-service continental to full English.
The surroundings are lovely. The gardens are amazing. Well done Moxhull.
I cannot stress how wonderful this place is for a wedding... And how lovely the cottage is for a stay.
