my stay at this travelodge was the best yet. And ihave stayed in branches of travelodge the length and breadth of the Country. Many i have to say have been of a very poor standard, but notthis one. Freshly painted, new carpet, new bed, (VERY COMFORTABLE) new T.V and handset that works. newly fitted bathroom.Best of all was the friendly reception staff in the evening and morning.Special praise to Marie, i asked her for any tips on where to run , directed me to Sutton Park. fabulous! In summary, spotlessly clean and good friendly local staff . MORE LIKE THIS PLEASE TRAVELODGE!

Stayed in a downstairs room which was bright and airy. I commented to my wife how fresh the room smelt. This lodge is located just off the road. It has a car park that is free with the use of a permit from reception ( Unlike another travelodge used ) which is shared with a Harvester Inn. Close is a witherspoons and a variety of other restaurants & take-aways. Even so there was hardly any noise heard. WiFi is available(charge) in the room. The room had been recently refurbished, with a comfy bed. The bathroom was of a good size with bath/shower. The reception sold breakfast boxes as there was no food, other than this and a vending machine. we only had one bath towel but this was swiftly rectified by reception. Extremely good value and quality.

Stayed here for one night for my partners birthday, following a meal in Sutton Park!
Read some of the reviews and wasn't expecting much. Arrived and it's a quiet little hotel behind a Harvester.
As you walk in the place is immaculate. Nothing is out of place, everything was spotless!
We had to ask for more towels and milk and the receptionist couldn't have been more attentive. Had a quick chat as we left and the same lady as last night was on.
My partner had a great nights sleep, I would have done so too if it wasn't for her snoring keeping me awake! Lol.

We stayed at travellodge in Sutton Coldfield for 2 nights , the hotel in behind Harvester pub and the car park is shared with the pub. There are some local pubs and places to eat within walking distance . The rooms are clean , however it's recommend that you book room at the back as some rooms in the front could be noisy.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are quiter

We stayed in the Travelodge Sutton Coldfield on Friday 20th December 2013 for one night.
We had booked a family room and found the extra bed hadn't been made up on our arrival and towels, only for one, were in the bathroom. The lady on the desk told us it wasn't her fault and she was now alone and couldn't leave the desk. This lady was very polite and friendly so I decided that once I received extra towels and bed linen we would make up the extra bed.
We had a ground floor room at the back of the hotel and had a very comfortable nights stay and sleep.
Morning staff were very friendly and polite too. We shopped until about 11.50 then went back for luggage and checked out.
The room was bright, fresh and clean.
We would stay again.

Room Tip: Ground floor room at eh back of the hotel. Very quiet.

we were delighted to find the travel lodge has been refurbished, since our last visit. The lodge entrance was clean and tidy with bins for guests to use. The rooms were superb, new beds and linen. Warm and spotlessly clean. Reception staff were friendly and helpful but discreet. No noise disturbed our stay, day or night. Will visit again soon.
