Whenever we visit Stamford, a visit to the Tobie Norris is always a must. It's just so quirky! This time we sat in the courtyard garden in the sunshine, and as usual enjoyed a great meal. I love that the menu is so "different" - as a fish-eating veggie I'm usually stuck for choice, but here I was spoiled :) Can definitely recommend the halloumi kebabs and Greek meze plate - it was huge and very tasty. Great place, love it :)

Great character, good food & good beer. The Toby Norris was suggested to me by a friend and we were impressed. The stairs are a bit steep but that adds to the character of the building.

Visited over the weekend after hearing good things about the pizza, and so glad we did! The pub itself is a beautiful atmospheric building, full of character and history. We all opted for the pizza, which was definatly as good as we had heard, the bases are fabulously thin and crisp with a great choice of toppings to cover all tastes. Dessert was a heavenly shared melting chocolate pot with marshmallows, sweet dough balls, strawberries and honeycomb to dip! The only fault was a mouldy strawberry which we pointed out and our money was refunded without hesitation. We are looking forward to a return visit soon!! A real gem!!

We stopped by for drinks first, but after seeing the menu decided to stay for dinner as well. It was a good choice as the food was lovely, especially the lamb. The chicken in the box is also worth mentioning for it's original representation. Good flavors, generous portions made the visit well worth it. Highly recommend!!!
